I don't see why not. The first game has a lot of room for improvement and great sales numbers for a brand new IP, both of which are good incentives for a sequel.

TBF the two you just mentioned were full of crap to begin with. Treadmore was literally a porn account before she suddenly realised she could get attention from leaks and Fatman... That was all for what was seen as the best case scenario ATM which couldn't have been more wrong now TBH. They never got anything really right but despite that, they got the eyes on them. That's all the fake leakers want at the end of the day.

Obviously lol. I did say more or less the exact same thing just to try and remedy these replies. Thought I'd put it here as Zippo had gotten some stuff right AFAIK and isn't your typical full-on BS twitter leaker Samushunter etc since it is a speculation thread.

I think given that Nintendo's gradually run a tighter ship as time has gone on, and we're some distance away from some of the more infamous spoiler incidents, I think it's not that outrageous to suggest that pretty much any notable Switch related leaks in the future will be via third party titles that get their details revealed.

It's hard to imagine anything on the level of the recent Capcom leaks happening to Nintendo, just to name one notable example.

Regarding #FreeMvC2, I hoped Capcom releases a collection of their marvel fighting games (x-men: children of the atom, marvel super heroes, x-men vs street fighter, marvel vs street fighter, marvel vs capcom 1 and 2) just like SF 30th anniversary. They need to revive the brand for future MvC4 announcement.

In an ideal world they would also re-release more of their Vs. Games (Vs SNK 1/2, Tatsunoko and SF vs Tekken). It’s all a preparation for Capcom vs Tezuka.

Regarding Zippo, I think he had insider info at one point but most of his internet posts are 80% speculation, 20% insider info. This happened to a lot of “insider industries”. Its a bad habit for this type of people to mixed up things, because in most cases it leads to a bad conclusion.

Not too sure who is it going to be but, the characters I want are Mettaton, Darkrai, MapleStory rep, or Dungeon Fighter rep. My opinion hasn't really changed outside of Mettaton being one of my overall top wants.

As far as Mii costumes go, just getting a Shovel Knight one both feels long overdue and would be the perfect bookend to Smash Ultimate, with him starting as an assist trophy and finishing out as pseudo-playable character.

Bonus points if he has multiple colors ala Bomberman.

Zippo has been right in the past hasn't he? Even Vergeben, who got the whole entire Smash Ultimate roster right, and a few of the DLC characters, wrongly leaked Master Chief back in June.

I think it's less about the credibility of these insiders, and just the fact that they don't really know anything anymore because things are way more secretive now.

With all the clout chasers posting "safe" stuff like "There will be a September direct and they might show Metroid, SMT, WarioWare and insert upcoming title coming very soon that we know about" I'm frankly more inclined to believe the people pushing out the wilder stuff like Bayonetta 3 or Metroid Prime 4 finally getting proper trailers or Camelot returning to Golden Sun or NSO finally expanding to the N64 and Game Boy.

And I still wouldn't believe any of the latter without something concrete anyhow. But at least they're going out there with their bogus stuff instead of being boring with non-committal "safe" stuff

Warioware, probably not. I'm kind of doubting Metroid Dread too, but it might show up. The reason is that these titles were already announced a while ago, and Nintendo has shown plenty of trailers for them that could have been shown in the direct. For Warioware, it also comes out too close to when this direct will actually air, maybe even AFTER.

Mario Party Superstars is what's really likely to be shown, they've been holding off on info for that game which makes me think they are probably saving for a nintendo direct.

I think they restricted themselves to MVC2, MVC1, and Marvel Super Heroes being the games that got rereleases so they wouldn't have to relicense everyone for everything. MVC2 may have every single Marvel fighter sprite Capcom drew, but it didn't mean they would get to port all their older Marvel games for free.

I'll be real honest with you

If you want to get the discussion going, especially for your favorite character, you got to treat things like a salesperson. Euden is a character that might not resonate the most with the populous of this site, so you got to add some Enticement to the audience to get them invested. People here like to Speculate, and they also are down for giving their opinions on arguements, especially for things they don't Agree with

As an example, If I just post a Shadow moveset, I might get likes and maybe 1 or 2 opinions, but nothing much more than that. Posting a Moveset is cool, but it's not the type of thing that's garner discussion

But let's say instead I say "Papagenos Leaked and/or Hinted at Shadow for Fighter Pass 2 a year ago" now you gonna get people invested into what you're talking about, especially if you believe what you are saying, and/or you can provide evidence that's gonna get the juices flowing (Which I can provide evidence). You also know many people are not gonna agree and/or be skeptical, and especially if you believe what you are syaing, there's gonna be some back and forth

Euden is kind of a hard character to discuss though, especially now since Dragalia lost seems to be going to the pasture, if the decrease in the amount of content for the game is any indication. What you could do though is maybe suggest Nintendo using Smash as a way to make Euden have a home on the Switch, or perhaps use the lack of a Sword tourney in favor of him. It's gonna be hard on your part though, but it's worth considering

Of course, make sure to be respectful and such, and not antagonistic towards the dissenters. I do like me a little beefing from time to time, but at the end of the day, this is just a game and we're just here to talk about it.

Fortunately for me, I quite love the Super Mario series and wouldn't be upset if we got a million Mario fighters. So many of them are so different from one another vs say, a series known for "blue haired guys with swords". Hehehe. Had to grab my shovel and dig that one, sorry.

I honestly don't understand how Waluigi appearing in spinoffs is something that's somehow such a big deal that people bring it up all the time. Like wow, he appears in the same games that every other mario character appears in. What difference would it make if he was a selectable character in a game that wasn't a spinoff. He'd literally be playing the same role, just "It WoUldn't Be a SPInoff!!"

I remember it being REALLY REALLY WEIRD (and particularly hated) when Mario Kart 7 did NOT have Waluigi. It had Waluigi PINBALL, but not Waluigi himself. A teeny tiny Honey Queen small enough to fit in a kart when she's normally big enough for Mario to climb on her butt, but no Waluigi.

It was weird BECAUSE Waluigi is so everpresent in nearly every Mario spinoff ever. He's one of "the usual suspects". He may appear almost exclusively in the spinoffs, but... people like the dude.

Heck, even The Washington Post made an article about his Assist Trophy status as soon as that was revealed

I don't follow Washington Post SUPER religiously... but they don't make posts like that for just ANY character.


It's that kind of thing that makes me go "If ANY Assist Trophy is getting promoted... it's Waluigi". And honestly... I'm betting Burger King that that's the last "rule" to be broken. The last "thing that can't happen".

Luigi mansion also isn’t a spin-off. It gets its own racetracks in Mario kart games and gets its own characters in it. Not to mention it’s always referenced in most spin-off sports titles because it’s mainline and canon

not to mention smash bros literally only uses mainline moves from characters. If Luigi Mansion wasn’t canon then Luigi wouldn’t even be allowed the poltergeist as apart of his moveset.

and on top of that the original game in the series is developed by Nintendo themselves so it’s automatically mainline and canon to the Mario series.

even more on top of that, E gadd literally originated in Luigi mansion and then appears in Mario sunshine. In no way shape or form is Luigi Mansion a spin-off.
