I know those are top runners for most likely, but you really should have had a 'None of the Above' option. Each of those are fairly likely, but I honestly believe it won't be any of them.

I think using tournies only works during a short timeframe of characters released. Sephiroth came after the Heroes vs Villains tourney, a year and a half later.

Normally the fast fighter could easily dismiss this, but Mythra is linked to the very slow Pyra who is more less the default character.

At the very least this tells us CP10 doesn't have any fire attacks if the condition for the tourney is that a fighter must have one move with fire property.

Personally I think a fighter that uses fire in a minor way and isn't supposed to be associated with it in general could still be CP10.

Revenge has some fire particles.

It ignites when Revenge is activated, and there's a firey explosion in Max Malicious Moonsault.

I always thought it was kind of a missed opportunity that Incineroar doesn’t have an attack that shoots flames from its belt like in its concept art. I feel the same way about Lucario never getting any aura bone moves.

We get both of them; Scorpion comes with the Challenger Pack but you have the option to buy Sub-Zero individually

I’ve been saying that if we get one, the other will be a bonus semiclone character. If they are based on the classic games, only their specials varied.

While Tourney doesn't rule out any character, I do believe that tourney right before an announcement do rule out a character.
Otherwise they'd do their thing of skipping entries/announcement as they always do and wait until the chara is announced/here.

They're both joke theories like Fire Theory. Horny Theory was made up after P/M. Every character in this Pass has either attracted the... attentions of people online for one reason or another - or, in Steve's case, had a pretty glaring innuendo in the victory screen.

Combined with the Shirtless Sephiroth memes and Sakurai saying he prefers Pyra "as a fighter", the joke kinda writes itself.

Neutral B Theory is based on the fact that 7 out of the 10 DLC picks so far (and heck, even most base game picks) had a projectile neutral B. So there's a decent chance the last 2 will have one too - though of course no one should take it too seriously. It's just how characters tend to be designed.

There are quite a lot of electric moves throughout the roster already, although there aren’t really any characters outright associated with electricity the same way Pikachu and Pichu are, yeah. Robin is probably the next closest thing to another electric based fighter with the Levin Sword attacks plus neutral B Thunder, though.

Well, we talked about Crono earlier. he could be an anime swordsman who specifically focuses on lightning magic, which we don't have yet.

Exploration is one of the quickest ways to draw me in, but at the same time the only game I could really call open-world/Wild-like to a degree is XCDE, so I'm just sitting here taking notes whenever this comes up. Most of the exploration-focused games I've actually played are stuff like Bloodstained, Hollow Knight, and Ys VIII, where it's decently open but a bit smaller and given some degree of direction via metroidvania-style progression.

Also the fact that filling out the map creates dopamine and I dunno if the wide-open games have that aspect

I would say that the Elder Scroll and Fallout Games are probably the most open-world/adventure games that I have played. You do feel like you can almost go anywhere and do anything.

I would love more ice elemental characters myself. I love snow and ice themes but all we really have are the Ice Climbers. Someone like Sub-Zero, the Lich King, Glacius, Sneasel, or Yusuke would be really cool (pun intended).

he didn't retweet the E3 2019 direct announcement either up until the Smash World Championships (was that what it was called? idk), where at the end of the event, he announced that "the next DLC fighter" would be there, but we got two fighters sooooo.
