That video gave me diabetes. But thanks, it's cute. It's not exactly the same name, but...
"Voiced by Aoi Yuuki"
I didn't stan Eevee as the alternative to Gen 8 for nothing.

Gee, if only Nintendo could actually provide their consumer base an easier method to play those systems on their modern hardware (aside from obviously the PS2, as Sony at least does a decent job at including some of the PS2 library on their PS4 stores, although there is a little room for improvement there too). This isn't related to Smash (unless you account for Melee being a Gamecube game), but I wanted to share this:

And even then, isn't the guy in charge of Sony against backwards compatibility or something?Gee, if only Nintendo could actually provide their consumer base an easier method to play those systems on their modern hardware (aside from obviously the PS2, as Sony at least does a decent job at including some of the PS2 library on their PS4 stores, although there is a little room for improvement there too).
Yeah, that's why I said there's room for improvement there too.And even then, isn't the guy in charge of Sony against backwards compatibility or something?
I don't think you can compare a playable character to an Assist Trophy. So about that theory earlier, wouldn't Sonic characters technically be an exception due to all of their voice clips from all languages being taken either different Sonic games or Brawl? for instance, the Spanish voice of the Knuckles assist re-uses some clips from Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, a game that released nearly 11 months after Ultimate.
Eh, depends.I don't think you can compare a playable character to an Assist Trophy.
It's fighter VAs only. The announcer and crowd chants are all recorded beforehand according to Xander Mobius. So let me get this straight: Is the regional VA theory supposed to mean that announcer and crowd VAs other than the Japanese English ones won't be used for the last two DLC's? Or does that include fighter VAs, too?
While we're on this tangent, shoutout to (some of) those who translated Whack:Idk what thory yall are on now but all i know is Dorpsbewoner is the best name for Villager
The transition from the Virtual Console to the NSO really didn't help matters - especially since it practically reset how many games were on a service to begin with. I'd argue that Nintendo could've benefited way more by including more games on the NSO from the get go (especially GB / GBA games, which remain mysteriously absent for... what reason? Dunno)... buuuut apparently Nintendo didn't invest much in the NSO retro offerings thinking that was the better move for some reason.Gee, if only Nintendo could actually provide their consumer base an easier method to play those systems on their modern hardware (aside from obviously the PS2, as Sony at least does a decent job at including some of the PS2 library on their PS4 stores, although there is a little room for improvement there too).

Spanish Whack/Thwack isn’t exactly subtle either
I only know what Muerte means because of this:Spanish Whack/Thwack isn’t exactly subtle either
According to Google Translate, Thwack's Italian variant translates to "more in one fell swoop."The Italian Whack tho is pretty on point as well
“Morte Istantanea”
idk what Italian Thwack translates to tho
Should all those third parties have waited until they could make an AT to go along with their fighters, then?Anyway I still don't think a Pokemon rep is likely because Gamefreak would want to have Pokeball summons along with a playable Gen 8 Pokemon.
That's what I at least wish happened with every DLC fighter, anyway.Should all those third parties have waited until they could make an AT to go along with their fighters, then?

I don't think they would deconfirm. I think they might confirm characters if the new character's data like that leaked.do voice clips actually deconfirm entire franchise's array of characters ?
If the regional VA theory is true then I think Pokemon with multiple names are out of the running while the ones with a single name is still in the running. We already know that rgional VA theory means a Pokemon rep is out of the running due to their cries being their own names, but are there any characters who speak in the third-person (for example: "Hulk smash!")? I'd think those characters could be disqualified, too (especially if it's weird to NOT hear that char speak in third-person).
You just gotta wonder how many arms Sakurai needed to twist? ;PTo think that the Ultimate logo almost went to "Everyone is Here" to "Everyone is Here (except Cloud)" when Squenix almost didn't autorize Nintendo to put him in the base game.
What about a mobile advertisement? What this voice clip discussion has basically told me is that the last two characters are third-party. I'm pretty sure every single DLC character was decided on in Fall 2018, meaning I see no more options for first-party characters.
Byleth, Min Min and Pyra/Mythra are Switch "advertisements". With Pokemon Sw/Sh and Ring Fit Adventure spirited away, there are no more "realistic" Switch "advertisements" in my eyes.
Unless...

Go ahead; we might as well retread old ground in this drought. What about a mobile advertisement?
Yes, I'm trying to start another Euden discussion...
This isn't confirmed. For all what we know it could have been another third party. To think that the Ultimate logo almost went to "Everyone is Here" to "Everyone is Here (except Cloud)" when Squenix almost didn't autorize Nintendo to put him in the base game.
Luckily for us some of the less impressive Nintendo Directs have been excellent preparation for realizing one's favorite franchises likely won't show up in video presentations, with some of the Partner Showcases from last year being a particularly effective inoculation in that regard. Not related to Smash but for anyone interested in E3 in general:

Let's remember why Sonic has reused voice clips, though. It's because his VA changed in the US and, to keep consistency, the English clips had to be changed to match the new VA. Since they didn't re-record Sonic's clips in JP then they didn't in English so improvisation was in order. Why they didn't rerecord, I'll never know, but it's not like they reused the clips out of any particular practice and, chances are, a full fledged DLC character is going to have recorded lines, especially if they speak in the reveal trailer.Eh, depends.
As long as there's enough source material to pull from, it's entirely possible.
If Sonic's voice clips are all re-used from other games, then there's nothing saying that say, Tails or Eggman couldn't follow suit as well, they don't 'have' to record new lines for them.

I still think ending Mario on March 31st and the splatoon kid or squid ad are worsei wonder if nintendo's marketing team is regretting NINTENDO SWITCH HAS GAMES yet because boy, does it get a lot of use ironically.
