Would anyone else be happy with some of their not-likely most wanteds getting a costume? Klonoa has such a low chance that if a costume with his cap and ears came with a Namco character I'd be overjoyed.

A Mii Costume means they aren't playable but it's still an acknowledgement and hey, it means my request was at very least, noticed. It may sting at first but it's still great knowing that my request didn't fall on deaf ears imo

Considering my most wants are very out there, getting them in the game in any way shape or form would be a dream come true for me.

Pretty sure the reason Geno is always sidelined or avoided isnt because of Square, its because of Nintendo themselves.

They usually misuse their own characters,best excemplified with K. Rool, do do you think Geno would be an exception? Hell no

Keep in mind, Nintendo's not keen on reusing characters from previous Paper Mario games that they themselves own. Geno belonging to Square likely contributes to even greater disinterest on the the former's part.

My current most wanted, Travis Touchdown, did get a Mii costume, and honestly yeah it stings slightly but also it shows that the fans' requests to get Travis and NMH content in Smash somehow really did work. And my childhood impossible dream pick of Marina Liteyears is never going to happen so I'd be happy with even a Spirit event, let alone a Mii costume. I'll take what I can get at this point.

IIRC he's banned from official Tales popularity polls for being too popular, lol. But I think Smash fans much prefer Lloyd as a Smash pick due to being on the Gamecube

I'm a big Blaster Master fan and it somewhat surprises me that it got no content despite always being one of the first ported when we get classics on a new console. As much as I'd love to see Sophia roll around on the stage, I'd take a Jason Mii-costume any day (especially if they use his Blaster Master Zero design). But I'd also be content with spirits to be honest.

This wouldn't be the first time a situation like this happened with a Square Enix character in a platform fighter.

Lara Croft was in talks to be added to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot was in the works. Square held off on giving Superbot the rights because they wanted her reboot design in, but wanted it to debut in her own game as opposed to a crossover outside of their control. In other words, they wanted it seen as their new Tomb Raider Reboot design, not a PSASBR design. Then, of course, DLC was given no budget and Lara never got in anyway, but still.

That's why I'm not immediately throwing out the idea...Square Enix has done things like this before.

When it comes to the Capcom wars, I'm siding with Dante. I didn't even play Devil May Cry until roughly four years ago, but I had a ton of fun with it, and there's so much potential for Dante that I've pretty much written four separate movesets for the guy (and a moveset for Vergil) by this point. (plus, having Dante vs. Bayonetta in an official capacity would be great)

Even if they just went with the basics like with Bayonetta (his default sword and guns, and maybe some kind of mechanic like Style Swap or Devil Trigger to make him stand out), there'd be more than enough to work with, even without getting into his weapons from DMC3, 4, and 5. (though you could easily make several different movesets using combinations of weapons from those games)

Yep pretty much (unless I could get Leon Kennedy or Nemesis but I think RE is off the table). I definitely want to see Bayonetta vs Dante.

For some of my longshot MW's like Laharl or Crono, I would be happy just for them to be a part of this huge game, even as a Mii.

I said back in July that there was a decent chance Min Min was all they had planned even before COVID-19, but an overwhelming majority disagreed since Nintendo ALWAYS has two or more characters at E3. More fuel was added to the fire once we learned it was Steve. Min Min alone apparently wasn't big enough for E3.

There's no way to prove it one way or another, so I just list it as a possibility and let people think whatever they want. I doubt E3 2021 will have a double reveal anyway, so at least part of the argument could be made redundant by June.

I think, at the very least, Steve was planned for a teaser if E3 2020 wasn't canned. That way, we can have our double reveal without needing to dive in to gameplay for the latter reveal that isn't ready yet.

but it didn’t happen

Velvet is more interesting a character for moveset potential and personality than Lloyd & Yuri, imho.

Give crowe some clothing that isnt torn to **** and actually covers parts of her and maybe i'll think about wanting her

I’d be pretty lit for a Dark Souls Mii Character honestly. The armor of the Dark Souls games (especially 1 & 2) and Demon’s Souls are some of my favorite medieval Armor designs ever so that on a Mii is something I’m cool with.

Honestly as a complete outsider to the Tales franchise...I kinda really hope Yuri isn't who they go with. Lloyd and Velvet just seem so much better, mechanically interesting, and visually distinct.

I'd be happy with any of my most wanteds getting in as mii costumes, but my only problem would be that a good 70% of the characters I want would be Mii Swordfighter costumes and Mii Swordfighter is the one Mii Fighter I'm not really good at playing.
But if for some reason all my most wanteds were Mii costumed and ended up being Mii Brawler instead I'd be more happy in the long run.
