Rogue Serial Killer Mafia Set-up (8 Player)
From my short experiences of playing IRC mafia, one of my favourite roles was always the 'Rogue'; in which you Stalk a player during the night, and if that player kills you you can resurrect the following day. The following set up (imo) allows good players to make themselves "Night Kill targets," as well as give them a chance to dramatically influence Town if they can pick the Wolf/Mafia successfully and early enough. Scum will likely be inclined to target the "clueless" players at night, as stalking is practically game over for them.
As "game breaking" as a successful stalk may sound, in reality I don't believe it would be that likely to occur (if at all). Either way, the Night actions for both Town and Scum are of high importance, as is scum hunting for all parties (to help determine the best action).
Rogue Serial Killer Mafia Set-up (8 Player)
1 Mafia Goon
1 Werewolf
6 Town Rogues
The set up is for eight players. Each Day phase, players vote to lynch someone. Each night, Scum targets a player for a night kill. Similarly, each Night the Rogues choose a player to stalk. If the stalked player targets the rogue with a lethal action, the rogue will instead have his identity revealed by the moderator the next day.
Gameplay Notes:
- Killing roles are not allowed to idle
- Once a rogue has successfully stalked, they lose this power for the remainder of the game.
- Scum endgames Town if only 1 Town player remains.
- If a 1 Mafia : 1 Wolf : 1 Town situation arises after a Night Phase, the Wolf wins
- If the Werewolf and Mafia target each other, the Mafia wins
- If the Werewolf and Mafia target the same Rogue, the Werewolf kills the Rogue, and Mafia's action will not activate the Rogue's power (if applicable).
-Interestingly, in a 2 Town 1 Mafia 1 Wolf situation at a Night Phase, each faction still has a good chance of winning:
1. Town can win as long as they stalk correctly or are not targeted for a kill (probably the lowest chance of winning, but if Town are in this situation, they made 1 mislynch and no stalks, with no cross fire)
2. Wolf can win if the Wolf/Mafia target each other, providing Town mislynches the next Day
3. Wolf wins if the Wolf/Mafia target the Same Rogues
4. Wolf wins if they target the Mafia, and the Mafia targets a Rogue (no stalk)
5. Mafia wins if the Wolf/Mafia target different Rogues
6. Mafia wins if they target the Wolf, and the Wolf targets a Rogue (no stalk)
Probability Notes:
-Town potentially only has 1-2 mislynches, depending on Night actions.

By any means, I'm not sure how swingy it would be. If it's too town favoured, I could probably decrease the number of rogues, but the chance of a 2 Day phase game seems like it would be not that necessary.
