Twists in ongoing P&S games should definitely be in spoilertags. After all -- we apparently have readers (1100+ views? Daaaaamn), wouldn't wanna spoil the story for 'em.
Yep. And I've seen some karaaayzaaaaay stuff in some Tom (and other good) set-ups, but I also never, ever found myself deviating from the fundamentals of the game. Find scum, find other townies / sew distrust, forge alliances / everything inbetween. Mixed and remixed for unusual roles, but never going beyond the scope of the fundamentals. Even the one time I played jester boiled down to these basic aspects of the game.
IMO if the roles are literally so special and out there that fundamental mafia considerations aren't the priority, or perhaps even a priority at all, you're not playing mafia, despite it being a game of townies with an infiltrating mafia.
They're called fundamentals for a reason, after all.
I've made that mistake before (and been called out by frozenflame every time) lol

I tried opening pen and sword on my iPod Touch the other day, my finger was tired by the time I'd finished scrolling down!
My stomach and I haven't been getting along for the past 48 hours. =(
I've basically just been sleeping and puking, so I apologize to Rockin and all the players in barhouse for not posting being late on the whole declaration of V/LA thing.
