2. They open the game with 1. e4 Nc6, the Nimzowitsch Defence.

3. After that, White plays Ba6, a terrible move.

DMG, teach me your ways. You know, I used to play chess a lot in my early teen years, and I'm interested to see how good you are. I'm bringing a chess set (or you can bring yours) to Phase 4, if you want to play, that is.

I'm pretty good. I tutor chess some and give informal lessons to people from time to time.

I can bring my set to Phase. It's not too shabby, Double Weighted with a decent Vinyl board (has some tears on it from the Puppy, but only on the outside edge of the board so it's still extremely useable).
