Yeah the first match at PK stadium was good, didn't really expect him to play so aggresive and i guess thats why i lost the first, but the last 2 of the set weren't so good for him.

Um no, you've never "4-stocked" me if you go by what I think the definition is...you won with all 4 lives left. You can beat me, I give you that, but I can take at least ONE life off...

If I ever do a tourney, I'm not making a thread on SmashBoards only to be flamed by Omaha and KS/Lawrence. I'll tell people I wouldn't mind coming the details of it, another way.

Edit: I finally found a Panama tourney. Too bad the rules are stupid:

1. The C-Stick is banned. What the f***.
2. The matches will be time, 5 minutes. The semi-finals is when the 4-stock rule comes in.
3. Single elimination.
4. Stage selection will be random. No stages are banned.
5. Use offensive language 3 times and you are kicked out.

Dear lord, they probably use all the items on very high with a 2.0 Damage Ratio.

I'd probably use the C-Stick out of habit and get banned. I always use it to up-smash after a waveshine, it's just so much faster. I found a really good Samus partner though, he assured me that if he teamed with me instead of his brother we'd win doubles. I agree, but no C-Stick...

well, this should be interesting. one of my friends found a girl that plays smash. after he told her i was the 4th best in (unknown region size)(he doesnt pay close attention to what i say) she decided that she had to meet me. Now i know that there are girls who frequent this forum, and i have to ask, any good ways to impress her? if she actually plays games for fun, i might consider asking her out...which is odd, cuz i dont intend to go out. i just want to stay home and play games.

Well I'm the best player in the entire room buiding city county.

Yes, I said Polk County. Bad news for you guys: I've met some really good Smashers here in Panama, and am barely holding on to my #1 seed. Think between David and I for skill level, and have 7 of them. They don't know English very well, so they had trouble translating SmashBoards.

Needless to say, this is the push I need to really jump to the next skill level of mindgames. Expect me to be better when I return. [/cliche]

No wavedashing, waveshining, shine spikes, SHFFLCing, not even dash dancing, or any advanced tactic at all known to man = not very impressive. I hope you've been working on those things, girls are difficult to impress using Smash.

And please tell her 4th best in Des Moines, a city so bad, I'm the only one with my name out there. (Ask people who went to No Damage, they'd recognize my name, even if it's bad publicity, I played alright for my first tourney. I tied EarthBowser for 9th, pretty good considering the awesome players that showed. Better than David's 17th place at least. And hey, I gotta be alright if Echo teamed with me. )

The only cities we could take would be suburbs...or Ankeny. Heh.

well, i havent been playing much smash. I switched to armored core for the time being. but i did learn a new trick, air catching. this peach pulled a babomb and threw it at me striaght up. here is the story.

JBM, get out of the Des Moines thread. I don't even remember Echo doing that because the tourney was months ago, but if he did, I already said I don't care...Echo is way cool, and I know he's not trying to flame me.

YOU on the other hand, were not even at No Damage to witness anything. If you were there, you'd have some ground to stand on, but until the day comes where you totally slaughter me at Smash, go "rofl" somewhere else.

As I remember I beat Victor the first time I played him, without any adv. tech...Some near year ago, that was. The record needs to be updated, especially with this Panamanian Mindgame stuff.

Anyway...I just have to say it was good Dv02 didn't get powershielded, I don't know who JBM is in the first place, and...Well, shiny techniques, learn it, man! Although I find moving around in a light shield impressive too.

Everytime the Panama natives beat me, they yell, "PANAMA!" I wanted to get a United States cap or something to wear for the upcoming Smashfests/tournaments, but the shirt would be even better to go with my "United States!" cry whenever I win.

No one celebrates the Fourth of July here. I did though, by doing as little at work as possible today.

EDIT: Don't even go there kintehr. That was on Hyrule Temple, a course I never play because it is BANNED. Remember the very next game, where I picked Final Destination and ruled you won? And I have nothing but respect for you and your Samus, as you know. I'm totally fine with the 4-stocking, I'm just an average Smash player compared to the Omaha Crew. I have no idea why JBM tries to make it look bad, as if he feels the need to prove he's better than me or something. We get it already.

Omaha is welcome at my Smash gatherings in Iowa anytime...it's Smeesh and the KS/Lawrence players that hate me. I still respect you guys as players, no matter how mean you are.
