I'll ask this Tuesday and see if we can have that many people there and might see if we can set a table up outside and get a power cord out there so we can play outside and won't take much room (I'm talking about Mayhem Collectibles).

If mayhem says no, my basement is clean now so we could just have the crew battles at our place. The only problem is parking so everyone will have to fit as many people as they can in each car

I would say that Joker's basement would probably be the best bet for a Smashfest/Crew battle. I'll probably play both Melee and Brawl. :chuckle:

i would drive to ur house joker but i dont know how to get there beside going from eluclide but the street mlk is flooded so idk how to get there other wise. so i would need a ride from some1 else or i could follow some1 there.

i'd be happy to come to des moines. there aren't many people in ames that would play so it's probably better to stay in dm.

I prefer to do it in my place cause my basement is some what big and can have multiple set ups cause at mayhem we can only have about 2 and we don't have to worry about little kids asking it they can play cause they will ask and also we can be louder here and don't have to worry about the magic, d&d, and warhammer people telling us to be quiet, plus is hot over there, and my basement is nice and cool. So i guess we find out tomorrow after MTKD asks mayhem or what people prefer.

Me Sluys and a few other might be interested in making the trek down. Need a bit more info before I say yes. Like time, date, place, ?cost? Not a real fan of the last one. I can't speak for the others but I'd rather just get together and play with some new people.

i agree completely, playing with other smashers is what the game is all about, there is no better way to evolve your metagame and learn new tactics than brawling with some new people, but yeah....less emphasis on the "cost" lets just have fun lol.

I'm assuming will probably be at Joker's, because Mayhem will most likely say no (Joker's is preferable anyway). I highly doubt there will be any sort of money involved (unless money matches happen of course ;)) , this is pretty just a smashfest/crews to get a chance to play some different people for once :). We'll hopefully have the location and time figured out tonight.
