Is anyone actually interested in smashing sunday?

Don't think I'll be able to manage a T.V., but I can bring a Gamecube. How many TV's do you think we'll have?

Well, i wont put down a set time, but i guess, i should have some sorta rule of thumb...
how about 3 pm 8pm, that way, you guys will still have time to do homework or etc.. whenyou get home, but not too early so everyone will be awake?

also, if you need directions, pm me. I will sent you them in a speedy manner. (may take 2-4 business hours at most.)

We could start earlier. I dont mind. we just need enough time to talk to everyone and play several matches. Also i think i have my cousin and Adam(Jay) Thompson coming as well. Nathan wants to get in the top ten as well.

I'm sorry to all my fans out there, but I think I'm going to have to sit this one out. I decided I don't really want to literally drive all across Iowa this weekend. But if you guys do end up having another one next weekend, I'm 90% sure that I would go to that.

That's okay EB! We'll be sure to organize another next weekend. And it'll be my last Smashfest here in the states, before leaving for summer.

And congrats on getting 5th at Shameful Fall, even with the low attendance.

Tim, is it still cool if I come around 1:00?

It was horrible. everyone had things to do, so only 5 or 6 people played, and that was on and off through the day. Maybe i should just leave the sceduling to you, eh victor?

Nah, I didn't think it was THAT bad. Besides your house being pretty warm. Tasty pizza though! Oh, and:

I think completely 4-stocking him counts. That was fun (and I didn't even shine spike him)!

I especially liked the part when someone called me "Speedy Fingers." How flattering.

my house really shines in the winter. But i cant figure out why it gets so hot. It doesnt make any sense. and thanks, nathan isnt thinkin he is so good anymore.

As everyone should already know, I am leaving the country on June 6th, right after the last day of school.

So I'm throwing myself a goodbye party. Which is just a fancy way of saying it'll be my last Smashfest until August 10th (when I return).

The Smashfest will be at my house this Saturday, June 3rd. PM me if you don't know the address. It will start at 1:00 P.M. and end at 7:00 P.M. My parents don't want anyone to hang out for more than 6 hours, which I guess is reasonable. Besides, I'll have to spend SOME time packing.

My mom says she'll bake a couple cakes because my birthday will come and go during my departure...no one has to get me anything (though you guys can get yourself some skills, oh my goodness, pound it Maze!). Also, we might get a 6-foot sub from Subway...we win them for free occasionally.

Everyone post that they'll miss me. Oh yeah, and if you can come this Saturday.

You mean SHE. And SHE would probably whoop you; her Marth even gives me a run for my money.

Ian is right; ISU is in Ames, took about 45 minutes to get there last time I went up there to Smash.

And, she lives in Marion during the summer. That's roughly 2 and a half hours away.

So Tim, is your house at a more bearable temperature with A/C and no heat? Heh.

smashfest

i just found out that i didnt have a ride at about 12:30, i had already talked to my mom about going and had it all set up but then my ride left..sorry vic..

Good 'fest today. A couple people went in and out...only Maze, Fall, and Dv02 stayed the entire time.

Sorry guys, you're probably going to have to go alone. No one does anything around here unless I'm organizing a Smashfest, and no one travels but us three.

Well, I'm about to go to bed, and I'll be waking up at 5:00 A.M. to leave for the DSM International Airport. After Des Moines, I'll go to Houston, then Panama. I'll be there by 6:30 P.M.

If anyone needs help with the details of organizing a Smashfest, I'll still try to be on SmashBoards, AIM, and check my e-mail as much as possible, though I can't give any promises.

I'll post again as soon as I get to a computer when I get there, so you all know I didn't die or anything.

I have an extension in Firefox to watch the World Cup.

Stupid United States, we got owned 3 to 0? Come on, U.S.! Panama's not in this one, everyone here is cheering for Brazil, looks like they might take it (yet again).

I'm going to try and go to a large gathering of Smashers this Monday. 6 to 8 people, that would be large for us. Hope I do well.

EDIT: David, what are you doing at 5:00 in the morning?!?! At least I have an excuse to be up at 8:00, I'm at work.
