Geez Nova...that stuff only happened last night and you've already figured out what made it do what.
Though you have to admit, both the wierd thing you did on Battlefield and the stomp on Aether were the two moments that night. But I thought on Battlefield when you were spiked(?) by the D-air you got stuck on the bottom part of Battlefield and wall-teched the middle part into a jump which is what let you recover.
I gotta see your CF tru=, it seems like only Byah and I use him. Is pikachu one of your hard to go against characters? Pikachu is the new Shiek...easy mode for brawl

Yeah, I think alot of us are rusty at melee right now since we've been playing brawl recently. Its just the fast pace action of melee is so different from the floatiness of brawl that your fingers just don't work like they used to.

That's why I play both BTW, Fleur might cancel on friday due to him being busy with school work if I heard right. However, if he does then I plan on going to Ultima's house to play smash since I don't have work. Anyone else interested?

That's good. Ultima's doing something on Friday and on Sunday. I know that the thing on Friday is at his house so I plan on going there if Fleur does cancel. That just leaves sunday...

Bad news. No Smashfest tommorow unfortunately at Fluers. Fluers Smashfest are at the mercy of his college stuff. Maybe we can do the thing at UltimaScouts as I saw you guys talking about earler. Though I might need a ride though he UltimaScout does have something to going on. If nothing happens, I might consider going to Rhode Island this weekend with my family. Maybe I can find some Smashers up there in Pawtucket

Haha I'm glad I picked today to check this thread.

Well let's see. I've been floating around different games now, trying to find one I can get in on competitively (since Smash hasn't really been working out). Right now I've settled on Starcraft--with SCII coming out in a year or so, I figured that learning the original could help prepare me for it. As a note, this is the same thing that drew me to competitive Smash: I could prepare for Brawl with Melee.

I still play Smash though. In fact, I went to my first tournament today, a Brawl tournament at my local Play'N'Trade. It was a store-sponsored tournament. Luckily, they had some sense. 4 stock, 8 minutes, no items, random stages. I lost in the third round to an MK user two games to none, but I'm not mad because the guy was really good. He said he visits SWF, but doesn't have an account. Wonder if he's seen Tru='s video.

(As an aside, while I was playing him, I was astounded. He knew exactly what he could do and when, and which of MK's moves outprioritized mine, as TLink. I caught on to some patterns and got a couple kills, but man--that guy was impressive. If that's what it's like to play competitive Smash...wow. That was like the most ecstatic feeling in the world.)

Anyway, yeah I'm just focusing on SC right now. But I would love getting more active in Smash, provided it's possible. If anyone's got any more ideas on how we could meet up, I'd love to play. Melee, Brawl, heck, Starcraft. Take your pick.

I might be able to convince my parents to. Thing is, I don't check Smashboards -too- often anymore, so I might not be able to see when those tourneys are (since, after checking their respective threads, I don't see a specific date for either yet).

he uses fl studio, its a pretty expensive program but very easy to find cracks for it....

ah i used to have fl studio, its on my other harddrive though which is infested with viruses...

i couldn't figure out all the gadgets and doo-hickeys you could add to change/warp your sound, or know of any places to download more instruments, etc.

anyhoo, apparently Smashtality IV is going to be in or around philly, who's planning to go? I think its sometime in june. I sure hope i can go to one of these.
(BTW its a melee east coast circuit)
