I don't mean to sound well full of myself, but I think i have the best grip on the diddy match seeing as i get to fight adhd a lot.

After he won SNES I 2-0d him at Viridian

So like the next time i fight him i'll try and get it recorded if any DDDs need help in the match.

The fact of the matter is, America's metagame has gotten farther then Japan's (and most other countries for that matter) simply due to

1. We have a LOT of top players
2. We have a HUGE community (in comparison)
3. We have more tournaments

So I was looking for charecter inspiration, and instead I found my erection in this picture.

Miss afros, black foxy ladies, bring em back.

Oh, and here are two more charecter designs I came up with. Let me know any problems you see with them.

Nadide Mualla- a tall, thin, fragile woman.
Nadide is the main antagonist of the game. Tall, thin, short fop red hair, dark eye makeup and green eyes and dressed in Venetian style clothing, she is in boss form, a sweeping force of quick, powerful attacks. In playable form, she must slowly regain the power she has lost from you defeating her. Each hit she lands raises her maneuverability and cuts down the frames on her attacks, until she is in full form. Taking off a stock will reset her charge. At the start of the battle, Nadidie is a tank, while once she gets going, she becomes a glass canon. Mastering both extremes and all the modes in between in necessary if you wish to use Nadidie, as you can not hope to win with only one method.


Mayonnaise- A red cartoonish creature with whiskers
From some odd sugar coated world comes Mayonnaise, whose tactics are a bit odd. Using gumdrops, Mayonnaise can slow down his opponent. If the opponents wish to avoid the attacks, they will have to take to the air, in which Mayonnaise has another trick for them, canned Peanut Brittle snakes anti air attack. The snakes move randomly, preventing people from accurately predicting and evading them. Where mayonnaise fails is the lack of kill moves outside of use through his trickery. Only through the gum drops can Mayonnaise land a decent kill move. He’ll have to rely heavily on them, and his opponent will have to constantly avoid them.

One other thing, I just noticed my rough draft description of Nadide didn't make it clear, while her landing a hit speeds up her attacks, it also cuts her weight down as well, thus the transformation from tank to glass canon.

And just a tid bit of information, her name means Blessed Warrior of Muhammad Saved From Hell and Deserving Heaven.

And then, after Full Sail, and once I'm in a position to propose my design document, and given the oppurtunity to create the game, aim for those 15, having no less than 10. I'm not going to say, I shall have this many charecters! because anything could happen in game design. I am trying to only work with the basics here, all the characters being experiments of frame data, movement speed, priority, Yomi, and character archetypes such as tanks, pixies, grappalers, etc.

I was frustraited and depressed with no way of preparing for my future. Working on my design doc is my current way of doing that. Once that is done, I'll try to learn how to draw basic spirites, and then try to make a simple but inventive platformer. I've found ways to keep myself busy. Doing nothing productive makes me very depressed.

You can't tell. It sounds like he was during the Diddy matches. Don't let people who tell you, oh, he was sandbagging discourage you. Any win against someone like that is always good ****. Keep it up Stealth.
