Dash Attack Up Smash

I saw someone use it in a video and I tried to learn it on my own to no great success.

It's the dash attack followed by an upsmash in the middle of the combo... does anyone know how to do this?

I looked in the advanced techniques and couldn't find it.

The Gatling Combo, or DLX.

Just do a dash attack. If it connects, smash up on the C-Stick. Voila.

The way I do it is...

Start dashing, use c-stick down to initiate the dash attack. When it connects, quickly press Up and Z for the gatling combo.

You could try doing the smashboost for Snake (snakedashing) if you don't understand the timing for the smashboost. Gatling combo basically requires smashboost button inputs.

Without connecting = Boost smash
With connecting = Gatling Combo

gatling combo works like this:
Dash
Tap Cstick down while dashing;;; see A or B depending on scenario
----A-----(The dash attack hits a shield/character during it's beginning frames)
tap up on Cstick
profit

----B----- (The dash attack hits thin air [opponent spot-dodged perhaps])
Slide the analog stick up and hit Z as if doing an Upsmash with Z in place of A
profit

note: in any scenario the dash attack has to be canceled into the Upsmash during its beginning frames
Basically if you do a boost smash too slow it ends up being a gatling combo, thus part B
(part B can also be used if the dash attack hits a shield/character, but A cannot be used if it misses)

-_- I can't get the timing down right. There's about a 2 to 2 1/2 second lag between my dash attack and my up smash.

You have to do it on the impact freeze frames. 2 to 2 and a half seconds is absurd because it takes less than a second to complete the dash attack.
