My favorite player to watch. Still the best? Hard to tell with improvement from others like Hax/ss.

I am very much looking forward to seeing how he does in Pound and I figured all this was worth some discussion.

If I don't get to see a Darkrain vs SS set at Pound I swear I'll cry. For those of you going, make sure that happens, and record as many of his matches as you can. Haven't seen anything since Gen.

Personally I think SS/SCAR/HAX/DARKRAIN are all on the same lvl. And yeah SS and darkrain has to happen at pound 4 ( I heard Jeff is going ).

wtf are you talking about? Scar has been placing bad at every tourny since genesis. Hax has been placing much higher.

I still think Darkrain and SS are clearly the top two. Scar made it mad far at Genesis, and Hax is doing good things on EC, but there's just something mesmerizing to all of Darkrain and SS's matches, haha.

I'll be at Pound 4. I'm bringing more than one recording setup, and the willpower to make Darkrain vs. SS happen at all costs. :]

plus darkrain hasn't played the game for months and months

if darkrain isn't eager to make this happen i wouldn't blame him and honestly i don't want to see it now, i wanted to see it at genesis, now it's passed and darkrain PROBABLY isn't the darkrain he used to be

Darkrain deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to staying on top of his game. He lived in Kansas City for sooo long and even after a dismal period in 2008 where there were no big Melee tourneys between Pound 3 and the fall, he ***** at Event 52. Then he won back to back giant tourneys, TO4 and SMYM9, while still living in the middle of nowhere. The guy just doesn't lose his touch.

Darkrain vs. SS will still be an amazing watch if it happens at Pound 4.
