Rage: vajina... is that what you search when you are looking for porn?! and you're the one who gets onto people for grammar/spelling errors.

Rawr: not many people do talk crap about other's backs. you post all the time... 200 since july, you are following in f4l and bigo's footsteps well.

Bluezaft: how you are in the good dallas crew? you don't have a good approach nor do you have good mindgames. you simply suck at this game. NOR do you post logically and relevantly on the boards.

Fire: nice new hair man. been watching some dragonball lately? i like how all your posts now randomly agree with the person who posted just above you. make your own opinion clown.

pootTheBox: yeah how does k.g.'s controller (which i have) come into that situation. quit toying with people's minds using your newfound quoting abilities. half breed.

Speedy: who the hell are you? do you play smash?! EDIT: i read your post just now... MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

i have my own opinion, it just so happens to be the same as other people, who just so happen to post above me lol

EDIT: oh oh i wanna play this davey guy!! i've heard good things, of course they came from his two best friends but they're good things none the less lol

1 MORE THING BRAVE: i need kg's controller along with the soul of your G&W sometime this week, so lemme know when you're free.

this was in the time of ragnarok the reeper. a time before the follies of men where so vast. and women and children and men alike acknowledged him, as he walked the earth like none other. a giant amongst men if you will.. in all respects. for his greatness could not be matched....

.... and this move came to be known as The Ragnarok and was widely accepted amongst the masses...

..... and his name remains and will so even a thousand years from now after the dust from our bones has faded.

Old Man RoK: Kids, I have a story... y'know "the RagnaRoK" of Roy move??

Grandson: Of course I do! Who doesn't?!!

Old man RoK: Before he became the best in this new.. Super Smash Bros. Altercation.... there was melee.

Granddaughter: ... On the Gamecube?.. I thought that game was just a myth?

Old man RoK: No.. it was quite true.... allow me to tell you a story, gather around.

-=The Grand Children do just that.=-

Old man RoK [Speech]:

Long long ago before these new generation consoles.. there was the gamecube... and upon it reigned an epic battle.. just like this new smash bros. altercation... There were characters that dominated.. Fox...Marth.....Shiek...Falco..... no one used many others... or at least not as good. Though, one would rise from the millions in order to use a low-tier.... "RagnaRoK".
Maining Roy, he defeated many, though still he was scrutinized and talked about, no matter how far he progressed. Following in the foot-steps of Neo and Sethlon, he embarked upon his own quest to become the best... though arriving so late... there was not enough time to do so. However; a piece of his style was finally immortalized...

Granddaughter: The RagnaRoK?

Old man RoK: Precisely my child.

While playing upon one of the smashfests with the Great "Wobbles the Phoenix", he did a combo which involved Roy's Downsmash repeatedly, him thus dubbing it "The RagnaRoK". Casting it within stone as he fought within a tournament to the east, and called it again within a friendly... all around soon embraced the name of the move.... It was used throughout the series after that....... and shall more than likely be used even as we pass... and our bones decay into dust and scatter as ashes do upon the wind's tide.... That player... was me.

Grandson&Daughter: SERIOUSLY GRANDDAD?!

Old man RoK: Yes.. and that is how this move came to be.... an epic tale we shall pass on for generations.. for you are the fruit of my loins.. now spread this out...... you must carry on the tradition I've started... become the Rebellion of Fire... the Marquees of Pharae.... save melee from the high tiers... and embrace your destinies. -= Holds their hands. =-

Grandson&Daughter: We will... we promise.

Old man RoK: Thank you... now that I've did what I could.... I'd like to say.. thank you.... let the Fire blaze forth.. and continue to burn... -= Flat lines. =-

Grandson&daughter: GRANDPA!!!..... don't worry...... the Sword of Seal's Blood shall never run dry....

THE END.

LoL, I'm mistar speedy, who can't play worth of feces. ;P Yes, I play smash, but due to a lack of players where I live, I don't play at all. Btw, how does that not make sense? I was trying to state how when I barely starting coming to this thread, it was all pancakes and gravy, then these new comers stroll by and think they're big and bad until they get owned. Nowadays, it's just pure trash talk, nothing like when I first came to this thread. I try not to post, alot, because I know what happens if you do that. :/

Just to clear things up/give some advice for all you smashers in general:

There’s a difference between camping and playing passive. Camping makes me bored and hate you, passivity makes me cry because you just beat me. The idea in passivity is moving quickly in and out of your opponent’s range to lure an attack out, and then punish in the lag of that attack. Camping is being gay. Passivity is “hmm I’m at a disadvantage right now, I’d better back off for the moment.” Camping is “oh no, he’s getting near me, RUNNNNN.” Passivity is using projectiles mainly just to ensure that your opponent is the one approaching. Camping is thinking any second you aren’t retreating and using projectiles is a second wasted. Passivity is dash-dancing and wavedashing and predicting. Camping is laserlaserlaserlaser.

At higher levels of play, passive is much harder to punish than aggressive. I’m not just making that up, I read a little essay thing Ken wrote once (and he’d know, he’s the guy that gave us dash-dancing). When I read it (well not so much an essay, but definitely at least 3 paragraphs) it got me thinking and changing little bits of how I play and that’s when I started on the long road of actually getting halfway decent.

^^^Did everyone take notes? It helped me a lot, I swear. I don’t think there’s any pro that doesn’t play passively at least half the time.

Now Swift is passive and Rage is aggressive. Both very good, and in my opinion, very close in skill overall--I would say Swift is better at adjusting his play mid-game in response to the opponent (again, a byproduct of passivity), while Rage has got the fastest fingers in Dallas. But I would be afraid to put Rage in against some really pro players because they know exactly how to **** aggressive players, and you just can’t take advantage of passive players the same way. While Swift isn’t necessarily more “skilled” he will last longer against higher-tiered players, and get more of a chance to take some stock off.

That was what I was trying to say. I apologize for making it sound like you were worse than Swift, Rage. We all want you to go to San Antonio. Especially me. I…I’m lost without you. I’m lost with you too, considering the number of times I missed the exit for 75 when you were in the car.

I also know for a fact that Zac has a harder time against you than Swift. So even if you don’t manage to sway my vote, you still only need DoH’s.

Besides, you should just go anyway. I don’t know if you’ve ever traveled for a tournament, but it’s amazingly fun, especially when it’s as big a tournament as this one’s going to be. So come over and play Friday. I’ll treat you to an ice cream cone. What’s better than an ice cream cone? I doubt anything is.

I agree.

Sword camping is lame as hell. Almost as bad as stitch camping (but it's not my fault I get so many).

I suck at this game. I change from passive (or camping) to aggressive so often I forget what I'm doing.

Anyway, Rage is obviously amazing because he is the whole reason why the term "you got RAGED" exists. Heck even I've converted to rage-ism (using Peach bomber none-the-less).

Ness/Lucas for top-tier (Sethlon can vouch for it)

EDIT about crew selection:
On a sidenote: I like Swift's play style a lot. I like Rage's play style a lot too. The problem is that if you wanted to decide which to take to a pro-type tourney, I'd have to pick Rage. And here's why, its not because Rage is a better player than Swift, but the fact that swift really relies on Fox (I think unless he's picked up a new main, falco doesn't count, also a space animal). Swift's fox is good, but it can be abused too easily. I remember in some of my matches against him I could have easily taken an entire stock from him several times if I was going all out with stupid tech chasing / chain throwing mind game crap, but I didn't because who does that in friendlies? I mean I'm not the best at abusing players for making tiny mistakes with there characters, but pros are. And that's what concerns me. If you take wobbles's fox or even sideeffect's fox (from mgc), i mean ouch they **** me hard. For some reason I can't do anything about it. Why? Cause they rarely, RARELY miss a waveshine or w/e else foxes do that hurts. They are always in complete control with no slip-ups.

With that said I can easily say the same goes for Rage. Almost exactly. Rage makes mistakes which usually cost him a stock because of SD or something stupid. But I think Rage's spontaneous gameplay can serve us better against pros who will easily abuse any weakness the game will give them just to win. If you had to pick either Rage or Swift as being "a spontaneous player," who would it be?

I hope this doesn't offend Rage or Swift. And I'm not even sure if the crew is picking either of you. But that's my 2 cents.

dawg. This has nothing to do with the above quote but I must attempt to prove that I'm halfway competent. It may be hard to believe since I completely missed the fact that the new text edited into my quote was intended to look as if I originally posted it. Nonetheless, I digress... I beat yo yoshi at bluezafts house in which we both was using his controls so how does mine come into this?
I was not speaking of your controller at all. I was telling you how the control stick was constantly moving upandright and the other controllers shield was sticking. It was also one of the first couple matches I had played in days. Now that I have a working controller you don't have a chance of beating my Yoshi. Do not get your hopes up. If you still believe your amazing skills brought your victory, feel free to money match me as much as you are willing to lose.
Need I say more? Here's a reason why, I don't come here, anymore. Ignorance is bliss, just like this smash scene was at the beginning of my arrival.
Here's a reason why I don't come here anymore. No need to chop up a standard sentence. The relation between ignorance and bliss is not just like the past smash scene. I understand you probably solely referring to bliss. These jumbled incoherent posts are probably the cause of Scav's hiding.

hmm...

adjusting my game mid-match in situations of increasing pressure in response to the opponent, situations where one might be 1 or 2 stock down against incredible players... if only there was evidence to the contrary that invalidated bluezaft's statement

THE FOLLOWING IS A BYPRODUCT OF RAGE'S AWESOMENESS PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE VIEWING

booya's not good or anything so these vids shouldn't be taken into consideration.(blatant sarcasm: booya is cold as ****, how many g dorfs can say they've 2 stocked doh in tournament or beaten bluezaft.)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=qvqRvLLyuEA

http://youtube.com/watch?v=7lIcE_-tWv8

now that last one might not be me but you get the point.

to sum up

1. i kick ***
2. rage combo > bluezaft
3. instead of lv.9 g dorf have booya play for crews, this would be better option than swift.
4. i beat blue and zac in crews, swift hasn't
5. ive played some of these top tier players including roy r sethlon jf and remember what they do, swift hasn't.
6. that 75 exit is hidden
7. utd zac is too pro
8. poot's yoshi is better than all of kg's chars and probly one of the best in texas.
9. ice cream in a cone is my one weakness, but ill have to pass. you can just play swift because this makes sense. im dying to see how he does, because no top tier players know what to do against an above average fox.
10. ill think about going still.

oh and thanks for reminding me uman. here you go.

As previously explained, it was put in the quote so it looked like you saying it to me. Or else I would have just put it under the quote with the response in first person. Unreason is the reason. Can't believe that's a word. Trust, the hype is high.

Oh and Yoshi vs Ness, 2/3, and Random levels sound fine?

Fire: Mario MM, 2/3, random levels? I'd love to be undisputed Mario king. White and red Mario is mine!
Any other takers? I obviously need money for this upcoming tournament. Consider it charity.

BTW let it be known that in Brawl I will use white DK/dk and use the tag......YETI

Haha. No one responded to your post so you responded to yourself.
MR. BOX: why must thou striketh at my mario title? i guess that'll be fine, and you can probably just take the white and red
I need the money and I thought you would go for that match up. Title would probably go to Scav for he would do best in tournament with only Mario. We will battle for white/red in due time. You will more than likely win it cause I have at least 5 characters I wanna master before Mario.

I have love for the vast majority of smashers in Dfdub

I apologize profusely. From now on I won't use any of Marth's attacks that involve a sword. You know, maybe if you asked nicely, I'd let you walk up and down smash me. But you can't just ask, can you!?

For everyone going to SA:

My place, friday. 4 o'clock(ish). Be there. We'll be undergoing intense training.

But only if you are going or are considering going to SA. I don't want a big crowd. We aren't doing this for fun. No fun will be had. We'll all be scowling as we play.

EDIT: that's amazing, I didn't even contact Swift. He inexplicably arrives when someone needs him, like Superman.

And swift, Rok/Rawr/Taco sad they might be getting a hotel room so you could probably sneak in there as well.
