I've been thinking about the MK ban too more so in terms of how it affects the community instead of the gameplay. MK probably still deserves to be banned, but I would rather have better relations with japan so we can generate more hype and more players. We're not getting back as many retired MK haters as we are just losing MK mains. At least this is what I see. Maybe you more active players see something different.
(I want to point out that my inactivity is due to my job btw, not because I resent the ban or something.)

can have single elimination practice tournys throw into the monthly. I believe this will help us with gain a higher level of play. it seems to help the japanese out when it comes to downloading their opponents cause you have to adapt

As stated by myself in The Core, I am planning on a big tournament at a-kon(or around that time). The thing is that if I do it at a-kon, I will probably have to play second fiddle, but if I secure my own venue, probably at EVO games, I have a little flexability in deciding on a date.

Hey guys, if you guys didn't hear. Let's all try and meet up at Evo tomorrow around 2-3 PM to try and get the store for the day most likely. For some massive practicing for Revolution. It's gonna be revolved around Brawl and UMvC 3. We can discuss pitch-ins when we get there tomorrow and see what's up. It'd be amazing if we all get together. I think it'd help alot.

Well, I talked with the parents tonight. They said that because I help pay the bills so much, I should have more leverage on what goes on in the house. This translates to I can start having smashfests again. The downside is this is the last week before school starts so I'm going to be busy with school during the week and work on the weekend, so it might be a while before anything happens. But know this, we'll have something going soon. Maybe this MLKJr. day.
