bf is actually more neutral and norfair is great for olimar because all the edges make him ungimpable. I've never had a problem with the lava? I'd say that luigis mansion is his best stage though; his pikmin are one of the only projectiles that can go though the walls and the ceilings allow him to lace usmashes together very nicely.Olimar's best stage is actually Battlefield, not Norfair. He does very well on platform stages, and the problem with Norfair is the lava kills pikimin instantly. It's actually a counterpick against Olimar.
His worst stage is easily Rainbow Cruise. He has a hard time keeping up with the stage.
Skyworld is, according to the SBR, "kinda banned, but not really", so until someone can post a worse stage for Marth that's legal-er, it'll stay up. As to WHY it's bad for Marth, I dunno - for the empty slots I'm going with whatever poster-joe says....if skyworld is banned ...whats Marths worst stage.
and why is Skyworld bad for him?
Please elaborate on why Brinstar is specifically better for Jiggly.I really think Brinstair is a better Puff stage than Delfino. Water Cancelled rest is so situational, and its more neutral than Brinstair, more characters do better on Delfino.
I'm also going to agree with Izaw.Link
Best: Rainbow Cruise
Worst: Frigate Orpheon
Just simply WRONG
The best stage for Link is Norfair
Read: It's not done yet - in the least.that list is total crap, it needs to be much larger, and more accurate. And give reasons why these stages are good for those characters
List says Luigi's Mansion.Something for the OP: Brinstar is DKs best stage
On the MetaKnight note I'll interject that it DIES on Green Greens. His ranged attacks occasionally attack the bombs and his lightweight and the tight quarters do not mix well.It absolutely drives me nuts how this thread isn't getting more attention. Counterpicking is very important in Brawl and hardly anyone cares. Seriously, will Metaknight have to win 90% of all the tournaments before people start to think "hmm, maybe it's not just the character we need to be thinking about."
http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/CounterpickWhat's Counterpicking?
I'll add this - though with reluctance.Jungle Japes is pretty bad for G&W.
It makes G&Ws vertical KOs much more difficult to pull off. (U-smash, D-smash, etc.)Doesn't the high ceiling compliment his light weight
The G&W is going to want to control the center part of the level, not being so close to the sides.the close sides his horizontal KO power
No, this is the main reason I said JJ.and the river his excellent recovery?
Out of the three best stages posted, would you replace Battlefield with any of them? (Luigi's Mansion, Brinstar, and Jungle Japes)EDIT: Battlefield is definitely one of DK's best levels. The platforms are great for him, and the sides of the level are easy to cargo hold stage-spike on.
Yoshi already has three best stages - would you believe Norfair should replace Delfino Plaza, Final Destination, or Port Town Aero Drive on the list?I use Norfair as a counterpick with my Yoshi against some foes because I think Norfair is a very good stage for Yoshi.
Yoshi has a long air dodge while double jumping.
This is useful to dodge the fire thing in the air.
and can you add reasons for the stages below each character? For Example I can't understand why Bowsers best Stage is Norfair or CF Distant Planet.
oh and I'm german My grammar isn't perfect
I added my opinion to Ike's best and worst.Ike
Best: Corneria, Green Greens, ??? (Brinstar or Pirate Ship imo)
Worst: Jungle Japes, Frigate, ??? (Mansion or Cruise imo)
On [Onett], I disagree. Although Mario cannot gimp there, the side blast lines are close so his fsmash and back throws can kick some serious butt. IMO his worst stage is Pictochat (especially when those side spikes are "drawn").
That would be the reasoning for the initial change - we REALLY more need imput from the character boards though.I can't see how Pictochat is Mario's worst stage, any Mario mainer wants to answer?
Luigi's Mansion, but if I were you I'd try to get a knowledgeable DK main to confirm this.Out of the three best stages posted, would you replace Battlefield with any of them? (Luigi's Mansion, Brinstar, and Jungle Japes)
battlefield is his favorite neutral, but it isn't one of his top 3, neither is delfino, though it is good for himLuigi's Mansion, but if I were you I'd try to get a knowledgeable DK main to confirm this.
EDIT: Delfino Plaza is definitely in his top 3 as well. Walls allow for D-tilt infinites, the areas with water allow easy cargo-spike setups, and walk-offs allow for easier throw kills.
I'd personally remove Jungle Japes for Delfino, but like I said: I'd ask a knowledgeable DK main just in case.
Banned stages...Can you please include banned counterstages for friendly matches?
