I was hoping for a little more specific advice.

I really hate Dell after those "Dude, you're getting a Dell commercials" (that dude got caught pulling a Michael Phelps). But that is what I am leaning towards. It has to be able to play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2.

Last I heard Toshiba makes perty gud laptops.

I personally have an IBM convertible tablet laptop. It's small, but I use it to write notes for classes when typing fails me (diagrams and ****). Just the fact that I can write on it is pretty cool.

However, my laptop can't even run CS Source, so I doubt it'll be able to play Diablo 3 and SC 2.

I think it's the SNES9x Wii version. It was working fine before, but Homebrew prompted me for an update so I did it. Now when I try to open the emulator it goes to the black screen with white text and gives me errors, then I have to restart my Wii.

o_o Download the HomeBrew Browser, it should provide updates for all homebrew apps that signed up for it.

D: first ive heard of homebrew making you update. iunno how to help. DD can probably give good advice

Okay, so I just talked with Mike and we can officially go to the Battlegrounds THIS Sunday. It's a $3 venue fee. He has 2 gcs with melee, so we need people to bring some cubes/wiis with melee. Hope to see everyone there. ^_^

a friend of mine wants to get competitively good at melee but doesnt have a gamecube or gamecube controller let alone the game.

he plays it off an emulator on his pc using the keyboard and said hes just going to "switch" over from the pc to gc/wii when he gets the game.

i told him that might not work out so well, what do u guys think?

i think that is a good comparison (compeitive or not) Starcraft for pc then going ot n64... terrible :-(
