I can see marth and Fox being dead even on yoshi due to Fox and his shines and marth and his auto tippers. The platforms on Pokemon stadium are much more to marths advantage though and there are a good like 20 of them....although fox can infinite shine....its a toss up.

One of the reasons I feel that way about Falco is because he gets punished so hard for messing up even once. Marth, Sheik and even Fox have a little room for error, but Falco has none (and to a lesser extent, neither does Falcon).

i disagree on the grounds that at high levels if you mess up once with any character, you die

i think that for m2k to use his own personal experiences to determine match ups is a bad way to approach the topic. i mean jus cuz player x 3 stocks player y, doesnt define the match up overall

That's crazy.

There have been soooo many posts but I think Pof said Marth is better because he counters Fox and I just wanted to say that doesn't necessarily mean he's better. M2K said that DK counters Fox in that post but he still obviously isn't better than Fox. You are right about the utilts and stuff but I think Fox does better vs. Marth/everyone on more stages than Marth does to Fox or whoever. I want to play Melee real bad now after reading all this.
