Killer Tomatoes are evolving...
Steam does not know what anyone is talking about. The scary thing is Steam does this in person sometimes
Steam's statement contradicts it's self.

...Unless there is another steam:confused:

Wait, you live in Longmont? I go to Boulder all the time. Next time I go we should smash.
I'm in Boulder. We should play now that I've finally got some free time.

Is TC still around? I haven't heard from him or DOP.

Something like that, or it'll be like Fighter's Frenzy and be Fighters the first day, and FPS the Second day.

I don't mind TO'ing for free, but I'm going to complain and state that I get paid way too little for the amount of time that I'm there :/ Every trip up to Denver for these events puts me in the negatives. The only reason why I do this is for you guys; I love you all and I love the community because I feel (mostly) accepted by all of you.

EDIT: On that note of TOing though, I read a couple of articles on how to TO better. I'm looking for constructive criticism (sp?) and comments from you all please. I want to know what I'm doing right so I can continue doing it right, and the things I could be doing better.

My #1 concern though is learning how to seed correctly. I apologies at KOTS that Dave got his own bracket. From my view, it didn't look like it, but after looking at it a second time, I saw his only threat really was JCVD. Through seeding, I also am now going to note that it's no fun going through the bracket 0-2. I want people to play at least a couple of matches before getting knocked out (in the nicest way possible). I feel I've been doing this before I read up on it, but I know I can improve on this.

One good idea is to have all of the tourney viable stages visible in some way at the tourney. Makes things much easier. A list for neutrals and counterpicks might help with those newcomers who are already a little intimidated by what they see so that they don't feel overwhelmed when they CP. Apart from that nothing really. You are a good TO and tourneys tend to run smoothly when you are at the wheel.

I was thinking about this when I was running it since many people were asking me what the 5th starter was. Ended up going with PS1 for all of you that weren't there.

I'll definitely take that and compile a printed list for it.

Yeah, I agree with bess. Having printed neutrals and counter pick stages possibly at every station (or every other station if you want to be green) would be good.

As for seeding for the upcoming tournaments, I would use placings from KOTS and maybe ranbat 5. Other than those things i think you have been running tournaments pretty well! (Better than nite! :chuckle:)

I was going to seed based off of the PR that whoever runs it (does that person wana hustle me a list?), but this seems like a better alternative.

Thanks for the input, Lunchmeat!

@Bees. LOL you act like M2K is some god or something.

@CC... (What do you want to be called again?) There are some great articles on AiB http://allisbrawl.com/forum/forum.aspx?fid=3

For seeding the best way is off of a formal power ranking system. Push come to shove, you seed based on last tournament. Good TOs will be up to date on the public skill level of players and be able to seed them appropriately (and UNBIASED!.... ps never let t0mmy seed lolololol). Another way to seed is just by doing pools (most big tournaments do this). Big tournaments do seed the pools though (having M2K, DSF and ALLY in the same pool would be dumb).

Above all just learn TIO. It is godsend!

Call me Z, and I'm too lazy to section this off right now.

I read some things on AiB so far, and a lot of the main articles here on SWF. So far, I've based my seeding off of the little that I've seen on the PR and my own finding from tournaments that I've ran.

Tio is amazing :) All the other directors in Cutthroat would benefit from learning the in-n-outs of Tio.

Thank you, Koi :)

EDIT: My bad for doubleposting...

tl; will read later when I'm at work and when my code is compiling.

Thanks, Dekar!!

Hm... I do want to make a spread sheet now of people who attend and various stats. Hm...

If anything I am glad because now I can get his perspective on the MKvsROB MU. Which he is definitely a top 3 player, and one that most MKs have modeled their game after.(Meaning I can learn more about the toughest MU facing ROB mains from MKs perspective so that I might understand the MU better.)
but meh w/e

I'm the m2k fanboy of CO

But I would never add him on FB. Way too impersonal.

Once we meet and take a quiet stroll around a pretty lake and have a picnic and braid each other's hair I'll add him.

Someone needs to put me in my place in BB. :(

I need matchup experience too. Playing online is kinda gay when you lose to ******** things and can do ******** things back (like double RC air sword combos that should never work anyways! :D)

And I need to learn how to play against tager. With nu it seems like it's one extreme or the other, you smash his face or he smashes yours.

Wait, what?! You have problems with Tager? Isn't that saposta be the easiest matchup in the game? Or is that with Arakune?

Tager has 2 horrible MU's imo: Kune and Nu.

Kune is just well... BEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Nu just backdashes, DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, more backdashes, and baits sledges. gg.

Course this is just a brief description...

He also has a terrible matchup vs. Carl, it's Mike Ross' least favorite matchup.
Yeah... that too. I don't mind that MU though. It's moreso Kune and Nu that I hate. I'll play Carl's all day long and enjoy losing though because I know that I can get combos off on Carl.
