You tried your gayest against my MK. How'd that work for you?

And I'll really just throw more **** with Tink. Trust me, you'll just have to learn to play against my characters traditionally.

Buy yes, you could gay my Marth.

HYPE
I can also play not gay

and TL's projectiles are the easiest things to PS IMO. TL also seems gayable with lucario.

So once you guys decide on a place/looking for a job. Here's a really good site to go to

http://www.snagajob.com/jobs/Colorado/Westminster_jobs.html

Just replace the Westminster location with wherever you guys need. Mike, Roman, Nite, Yang ETC. SUPER easy to use and gives you the job title and application pretty much ready to go. I think you need to sign up with an email but it's definitely worth it, I made a separate email account a while back because you get ALOT of emails from them about job offers.

Do what you want. My honest advice on how to beat Toon Link with almost anybody is to just stay in his face. Lucario ***** him there.

But whatever.

Easier than ROBs awesome spamming?
Starts firing on frame 25, ends on frame 55
Weak Laser hit in 31 frames
Strong Laser hit in 39 frames
Also his super spammable gyro?
Frame number uncharged gyro hits on: 21
Number of frames the gyro hits on after being fired (the input for releasing the gyro, when the gyro is on the stand and ready to be fired): 6
I am pretty sure Tink isn't the easiest projectiles to PS.

Rob really isn't that bad.

Gyro is more for spacing anyway, and if you catch somebody off guard, or in hit stun, laser is pretty great.

Of course. You just can't spam with him(its impossible with that frame data and no ATs to take frames off or get around them)) But ya Gyro is amazing for spacing and is amazing if you space with it correctly( punishes airdodges, harasses opponents on the ledge, Pokes some characters feet if aimed accurately also the GT stuff you can do is so good(mindgames and ATs galore.) Also Laser is my favorite thing(laser kills and sniper uppercuts are so fun.)

Its just that if you try spamming with ROB it is much easier to PS. With Rob you have to be smart with your projectiles. Mix it up a lot.

EDIT:HI JCVD!!! <3

Tink's ARE the easiest to PS. Yeah ROB's take about the same time to come out as Tink's, but they MOVE faster. Have you seen Tink's arrows? The gently drift through the air. You don't even need to know the Tink MU to see his **** come at you a mile an hour.

Regardless, and I'll try not to start this up again, Tink's spam isn't necessarily meant to not be PS'd when this is an option. Luckily there's this sweet place called the air where if you dodge an arrow, you're probably going to be hit by a boomerang and a bomb. Hella easy to PS/Hella hard to airdodge through.

I see. You have a point. At least you have spammable projectiles. I imagine if done right certain characters can't get off the ledge. But ya I see what you mean.

that's exactly why it's cool that TL's ground game is bad. =D

I'm not all that experienced at the TL MU but it seems to me like he'd have a hard time dealing with lucario's roll.

I can air dodge everything.

Also, my fastest projectile comes out in 20 frames =(

Few people have a hard time dealing with lucario's roll when they focus, Steam. This is because you always end up rolling yourself into a corner, so your next roll HAS to be away from the edge. Might need to change that strategy if you ever want to roll camp in a tourney.

I wasn't talking about Steam's Lucario, I was talking about good lucario

edit: but yeah I'll try to not roll as much or something, IDK what I need to be doing in fact...

It honestly depends on your character, Lucarios roll is great offline but online it's just unfair.

if you really main snake then yeah I don't roll much against snake unless I'm rolling away from him if he's in my face or something.

Please roll against me when I am Marth, MK, Diddy, Samus, Snake, Wario, or hell anyone!

Only problem with rolling is if they get into your space, and predict the roll.

Free Dancing Blade or whatever.

Rolling is the most predictable thing in this game.
yup, but as long as you're smart with your rolls (especially when you have the fastest roll in the game) you won't be getting punished for it.

though I'll admit I wasn't very smart with rolls at splat.

Thing is, rolling is tendency that always leads to creating habits. ALWAYS :(

Indeed. Almost every roll I do in brawl is an accident, usually caused by a jump out of shield getting interrupted by hit freeze.

Example of rolling being a terrible idea: If you roll against a diddy that even halfway expected it, you just got Glide Tossed nanaed into a free something. Jumping out of shield leaves the option to full hop over it, instant throw it, dodge or catch it, or just hit it out of the air. Rolling only left the option of hoping your shield comes back in time.

true but your main is ultra mobile in the air and has a terrible roll. Wario shouldn't really be rolling hardly at all. Lucario should be rolling more than any other character TBH, he has the best roll and needs it in a lot of situations.

The pro strategy for beating my Pikachu:

Get in my face > wait for me to spot dodge >wait for me to down smash after this spot dodge > punish > gg.

All the points I just made are true for lucario. You think just because your roll is fast a diddy won't hit you with the glide toss? a jump out of shield gives lucario all the options I listed, a roll gives you NO options after it's started until it ends.

Rolls CAN be useful, but most of the time end up being a neutral move at best. An example of rolls being useful: m2k dashes at a snake, then rolls behind them to avoid the grab and gets a move of his own. This isn't truly rolls being useful, as m2k reading his opponent and using a tool.

Or a roll in situations where it is fairly necessary. Wario NEEDS to buffer a roll against certain setups by peach, or get grabbed and killed at sub-100 percents.

The point here is that you have to understand the use of rolls and what the strength of them is. Rolling for defense will ALWAYS build habits. Habits are bad. If you aren't proactively thinking during the match, you deserve to lose. If you get used to "oh, my back roll gets me away from this grab setup." you may find the grab setup turns into the person getting time to get items. Maybe your roll that avoids peach's double slap let meno get a beam sword or bob-omb. Maybe it let me build up my waft an extra second or two. Frankly, I can't think of many characters you're going to be facing in tourneys that won't benefit from YOU using your roll defensively.

tl;dr : Don't roll because you're scared, don't roll because it worked in that situation before, don't roll to buy yourself a second, don't roll to roll. Roll when it's the only option you have.

I'll figure something out, but I'll still plan on using rolls fairly often since if I'm not using what he does best IDK why i'd even use him. When I use wolf I don't roll at all.

oh, and I just learned that lucario's fastest aerial on startup is his dair, it comes out on frame 4... I always thought it was nair lol.
