Ill have to check but we might be able to get a big screen tv on our common rooms? we'd just need someone to bring a setup and some controllers.
When I was a young lad in college I secured rooms for all sort of nerdy shenanigans. lan parties, roleplaying, I do not see how they could deny Smash Bros. :) I have a wii and two GC controllers. Most tourney goers are accustomed to bringing their own controllers anyway, so it may be a good idea to hold it somewhere in CSU. Dorms have common rooms. Only pain is escort rules, if you are in a position you gotta follow em.

Here at UNLV we have a room dedicated to just video games in the student union. We have Brawl Blazblue and a different game everyday from 9am to 9pm.

That's what ya'll need.

Alright, so Timfest on Saturday is go. Whiners can whine all they want. Don't show up before 11 or I'll be nearly naked and stinky.

Also, so long as someone brings a TV and melee setup, we'll be having $5 tourneys for blazblue, brawl, and melee. So bring your B game at least, preferably A game.

Ah, so it doesn't. :/ I guess it did in melee tho right?

I can see that is so. There is always a possibility someone will discover something, I mean, DK and DDD are slow but they can still win upper tier :) If Link can get a CG or something comparable he might get potential. I unno :)

I won't hold out hope, but I will keep a keen interest in him as a character close to my heart.

I looked at tier lists, he's on or near the bottom for EVERY Smash game made in so far. ;_;

Sigh.
DDD has an unholy grab reach and set Dthrow distance, it's evil! Actually that was uncalled for, a giant penguin sitting over and over on a plumber, princess, elf in a tunic, super-soldier etc would be funny if I wasn't on the wrong end.
...Okay that^ sounds more wrong than it is. Link sorta has a chainthrow and jab lock. Link's grab unfortunantly sucks in brawl. And slow characters with bad recovery and bad grabs are easily beaten by powershielding. Brawl's revised easy shield/edge grab/air dodge system sapped the remaining 1 vs 1 tournament value from Link.

Is their anyway to have a thread used only for CO tournament info? I can't keep track of who's where and when.

Set smashboards to 40 posts a page, and learn to speed read.

Edit: Flux, I thought Lucas was your best friend.

No, they definitely changed the font size of the page. I turned my fonts back to normal size, and now my quick reply box font looks stupid.

The font size ain't really bugging me, to be honest.

Log out. NOW
But I wanted to destroy your reputation. ):

Also, moblin/zaj are whining to have the fest sunday because of psats, but I told them that they're easy and short. Everyone agree with me?
As far as I know, we're taking it early in the morning.

I guess I can deal with it. Just might be there a little later than others.

Nope. What game do you have for ps2 that you need AV cables so much?

And is anyone going to Pound 4, seriously? My parents will let me go but only if I go with someone from CO. Help D:

I'm a good roommate, just ask Tim or Meno....

i'm so going to this smashfest on saturday, gonna be pretty fun. i'll try and bring some sodas or snacks or something since i dont have a controller (cough someone bring me one plox cough) or a setup etc. but i have my ultra uber mind games.

Also, since new handles are happening i decided mine could go for a change too

My new handle will be Chozo sama van lichenstein the 4th

but really, horrible attempts aside, I am no longer MaguS since I feel it is an overused name or something
so i'll be ChoZo cus i'm a pimp
