The only serous tournaments I been to were a C3 and Dylan's smashfest. I played Brawl/Melee a while ago on a less advanced level but stopped for a while when people moved away. I've only known about most ATs and tournament strategies since last spring. How many SSBB tournaments have you been to Mes?
Powershielding doesn't reflect range attacks. Link's starting lag is so long that Link can powershield a fast attack but he'll get grabbed or smashed before he can punish it. The 'inundating' part of my guide does help, but not enough. Link has to be 100% in the zone, maintain strict spacing/setup, and read the other player's mind like a book to win, Meta Knight only needs to get Link into the air (no offense Meta Knight mains). Most stages that are allowed in tournaments are better for the other character, especially since Norfair was banned. Link is good in many ways but 1 vs 1 tournaments aren't his thing. Thanks Mes I will take a gander at reading it, might provide ideas :D It look slike there is a ton of work in it. Doesn't power shielding work against almost any char though? It is a zero latency block, iirc. And bounces items to the sender. Seems to me that mind games are needed to prevent an extremely good char from countering your moves no matter your char
Yeah! I got last place without even entering! haha.Spencer is so awesome he can place without entering!
I forgot the card you signed after seeing a magic trick said "Endless Variety" on it lol.Almost got all the vids up.
Don't worry. I was making you approach. I know how to play with Items. There was no way I was approaching unless you were open.Hey...!

The guide section with character catagories doesn't work for high level play with chaingrabbing and such.

What dorms you live in? We live right behind Chipotle on Mason<--- Freshman :X. If you feel you can be caught hanging out with me we should play sometime, although I haven't touched melee since i cam up here so i'll probably need to get back in shape a little .
Either way, we should smash sometime, or at least chill sometime.
