I dunno how good my laptop will be for streaming, it's kinda clunky. Also, dunno if my capture card would be any good for streaming, as it was $5.

And Judo is Mikezor, and would be great for commentating. Preferably teamed with someone very serious, or someone that can translate his insanity for the world.

He'd have to be careful about it, otherwise he'd get posts with like scarf and scare when he searched.

Also, uploaded a few more teams matches, will upload the rest of the vids I'm gonna upload tomorrow. I'm lazy right now.

It's JCVD again.

So, since I really want/need to practice brawl, and I know a bunch of you do too...

I'm thinking I can maybe host a brawl only smashfest at my house (I am located in the Springs) Independence Day weekend, or the weekend after... or during a week day one of those weeks, because I usually have free time due to bad hours at work.

If you are interested, let me know so I can get an idea of how many people would come and such. (less people means I can probably provide food).

Not to be the guy who doesn't have any fun or anything... but if this does happen, we should practice seriously, not just goof around the entire time. I'm not buyin' anyone food for nothin'.

Plus, I need some people to criticize my Snake. : D

Tim, you should probably do a test on ustream to see if you can broadcast your capture card. Just do this, it's pretty easy:

0. Hook up your capture card to your TV and start recording some Brawl
1. Go to ustream.tv
2. Register if you don't have an account there
3. Create a show if necessary
4. Click the big green "Broadcast Now" button on the top
5. A popup will come up, and after a few seconds, another popup will come up asking for permission or something like that, say allow
6. Mess around with the audio and video source dropdowns until you find your capture card outputs

If you can't find your capture card on the audio / video dropdown, or it just doesn't show up, then you have Flux Syndrome.

And hey, JCVD, you should try doing it this weekend if I can't get my smashfest idea to move forward.

Only problem with that is I have work on Friday night, and Saturday night from 5:30-11. I miiiiiight be able to do it Sunday, if everyone else is cool with that. That's a big maybe though. I'll figure out the schedule by the end of today.

It may have to be next weekend though.

Let me know if you get your smashfest going first, if you can.

Give me a call at 719.963.7653 when you figure it out, and if I don't answer, give me a text since if I don't answer, I'll be working.

Oh, and everyone should add my phone number, and text me theirs or call, just so I have them.

Right, so, I just got a PM from a Kansas player asking for information about pools and the ruleset @ SuperCon. Have we decided on a concrete plan for pools yet, or is the idea still being thrown around?

Also, what are the rules going to be regarding infinites (standing and wall)?

Havok from NM? The guy who swears a lot?

And I think we're using our same infinite/cg limit rule, though we're gonna need to print out a bunch of papers and put them everywhere this time. But yeah, and we need to know what stages are legal and such.

All infinite grabs are limited to three reps. This includes, but is not limited to, Marth and Charizard's regrabs on the Psychic Brats, Dedede's infinite regrabs on Mario, Luigi, Samus, DK, and Bowser, and any IC infinite. After 3 grabs, the player must either throw or hit away their opponent. For this rule to take effect, one must request a judge before their matches. In teams, infinite grabs between alternating players are allowed.

Though I think we were doing 5 instead of 3 at some point? Tony knows.

I never liked that rule. At least the Ice Climbers should have it.

Sure JCVD, sounds good to me.

@Zaj- were you just joking? If not, I'm always down for a MM =P

I don't always win money matches... Dojo pooped on me and gave me some MK experience while I was at SWAT ;P

MMs are just a way of playing against another person competitively, with 0 chances of sandbagging occurring =D

Do tech'able grabs apply to this rule? (since they're not infinites and there is a way to get out of them)

Only if the opponent calls for the 5 grab rule thing.

But it's kind of unwritten code in CO to not ***** out the rules like that. I think ICs players should be fine.

Hoo hoo hoo, black font is tricky. It was created mostly to combat the character specific grab infinites, but then a discussion on all grab infinites came up, and it was standardized for fairness aspects.

As for that chain you put up, I believe it would be legal, ask IoZ about it though.

IC chain grab isnt even that bad. Only gets tiring to play them all day like I do =(

Also you can SDI the fair onto platforms/behind the IC's to **** them up =O
