The art, game style, and mechanics lend themselves to bb being a faster game, which is usually made by having higher damage. The fact that so many matches were going near time up in cs1 with that high of damage point to the damage being overly nerfed.

You have at least 4 rounds, which is at least 8 mistakes.

It is faster though.
They've just readjusted the whole offensive mechanics of the game to make sure of that.
pressure in general is much stronger, and most combos corner carry or lead to knockdown which just resets pressure or even makes it stronger.
and it still has high damage, just not as high as it was in previous iterations.

Derp. I'm too lazy to go search this in training mode, but I think U-tilt to thunder may be a real combo out of a D-throw. Not sure. I just remember that pikas U-tilt had a ridiculous amount of hitstun. Which is pretty damn silly for a tailswat.

Anywho the chaingrab does alot of damage at the very least, but thats when the really battle starts.

Pikachu can't get a kill easily in this MU. Fox has more overall mobility, pressure game, and can ignore pikachu's keep away game (lol reflector) so he has too approach. Thunder set up's are also useless because of that damn reflector. Really your best option for a kill is getting an OoS N-air maybe a hard read F-smash too. (Isn't that what steam's snake is famous for? =p)

An inexperienced pocket pikachu getting a grab on any half decent fox is soooo unlikely. I wouldn't dare try and CP fox with pika unless you're confident enough to use him as a secondary against other characters. I've watched so many matches of people trying to go pikachu only to get ***** because they don't know the basics of Chu and go for nothing but grabs. .-.

TL;DR: Pika scrubs get rocked yo.

I just got word that my grandparents are coming to visit on Friday. Since my grandparents are awesome and we only get to see them once a year (if that), Devondorf, Zim, and I will probably be at home on Saturday.
