I honestly feel like I'm the best Ice Climbers in PM right now and have arguable wins to accomadate that.

So I definitely believe there's a top four IC's (maybe more that I don't know about) in PM: Hylian, Phresh, Fumbles, and myself. I like how we all do well in our respective regions and each have a vastly different playstyle to boot. I hope we can continue to bounce ideas off each other and push the meta with these guys. If it wasn't for matchup trouble I would EASILY put IC's as top 10 in pm, and I still think they might be.

I was at Smashcon last weekend and entered the 117 man tourney and got 5th with IC's. I lost to Reslived (ughhhh, had game one but missed the Nana charged fsmash while I had him grabbed and then I stupidly switched to Pit game 2. Oh well, we all have our losses) and Junebug's Ganon 3-1. But I also took out Hat (who Fumbles took out in losers lol), BaconPancakes, and Mr R. I was very pleased with my performance overall now knowing I'm actually more than just a local threat.

I also got the play the IC ditto with fumbles for a couple minutes. I love the ditto in Melee, but in PM it's ughhhhh. His lab work with them is siickkkkk though.

Against June my ledge game was really bad (way too many accidental tournament winners) and I missed a decent amount of grab punishes, but oh well. Still a WIP.

Man seeing Phresh do his thing really inspired me to pick up IC's in PM again, they can do so many cool things. Just trying to think about everything makes my head hurt. I love it. gotta start studying

So I got 9th at Blacklisted guys. Lost to Darc who is very good and then barely lost to a Luigi named Kwills. It was a great run for my very first national. In addition, won over $100 in money matches, only dropping games to Junebug & Sora.

Sorry if I let you guys down lol I wanted top 8 so bad; next time though. I did take alot of names though.

Yeah, did manage to make it to Blacklisted, drowned in pools (tiebreakers kinda suck). But got to see Phresh do his thing and lose money to him lol, but it was a fun experience. (Also did a lot better than I did at Smashcon's tourney lol)

I think I ended up getting like 48th at blacklisted. I played like ass in bracket, and went auto-pilot against a guy that I've never lost a single game to before. I almost went game 3 last stock against Hat, who ended up getting like 4th, so I'm pretty pissed about that.

I don't think it's IC's worst match-up. I have a lot of experience in it from brawl where it was also hardish for IC's. I've also played several really good yoshis. It's hard if you don't understand yoshi well, but IC's have great stage control/presence against him. I think yoshi wins, but it's closer to even than being a bad match-up.

Just use float to carry Nana off the stage. If Popo challenges you just use one of your high priority moves like down smash or nair.

Really the only MU I cant win against top players like Jaden. I beat other Peaches but it's just the high level ones I don't wanna switch to Puff for.

My strategy against Peach is usually to just desync blizzard camp, and if I get the chance, poke with upairs. The good thing about the matchup in PM is if Peach tries to catch you jumping into a platform with her downsmash, you can up-b into it since Nana is invincible, and it will kill at like 70%.

Squall is really good against peach's float as well.
