lucky star is like the most laid back and random show ever... if that makes sense. Quickly became one of my favorites. Though I did fall asleep a few times while watching the first episode. Also there are a ton of references to both fullmetal panic fumoffu, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, as well as a bunch of other anime like initial D and Gundam... heck, theres a street fighter reference in the first episode!
