my freind ray plays kirby & hes pretty good sometimes he evan beats me & its anoying

but its cuz hes really good & kirby is realy anoying & cheap
these are casuals so im not rly serious about them but i steel make alot of mis takes

I watched the first 4 games.

Not a master of Brawl yet, but you have the basics down very strong. However, your opponent's Kirby does not tilt, which would make this match MUCH harder for you.

Please learn to use ditlt. Otherwise pretty solid.

This needs to stop btw. You're decent, but there's SOOOOOO much you don't know and can improve on. I'll tell you this straight up: I WILL DESTROY YOU.

Now, me, and the vast majority of the other Marths on this board are willing to teach you, but not if you're going to go around posting trash like that.

Considering Mr. Cheese-kun there joined in 09, it's very likely his friend doesn't even know what SWF is. And if you're not involved in the online community, 90% of the time you suck, a lot.

Another thing is probably the player isn't thinking/probably just picked up the character that day. xD

Who knows really. I'm not going to theorycraft all day.

I only watched one vid (because I am lazy), I agree with the post above, but I would also like to add that you need to work on your counter timing. It wasn't a matter of the amount of times you used it, but it seems as if you were a little hasty and activated it a little too soon.

I get ***** all the time and barely get in top 8 but I don't learn much.

Except that jumping around against D3 isn't very smart.

Oh and Swallow is the bane of my existence.

When I first started playing brawl my best friend would swallow with kirby and D3 just to get me pissed I learned really quickly how to get out of that attack your controller at the speed of light till you get out

I see you were having fun with fastfall. Your f-airs are kinda readable though. and more d-tilt. you might be using shff fair too much. Its aggresive and all but you shouldnt usi it again and again. Too predictable.

Well, you already got your critique here. Now you should use it to get better and when you think you improved enough, then post new vids.

You didn't get punished for it but you should really work on chasing off the ledge as well be patient edgeguarding instead of hoping for a random tip (which you got in the 2nd match because Kirby can't autosweetspot with his Up+B.

You need better opponents. That Kirby sucks. My Kirby is 3 times better than that Kirby and it's still a major work in progress....


Are there any tournaments near you? That would help you.


You have the basics, throw in some more Dtilt and get the basics down really well then stop trashtalking here. You're not Junk. Most of the people here will destroy you as Pierce said.

Im pleasantly surprised. No offense, but your poor grammar, scrubby language and cockiness would lead me to believe you suck hardcore, but you appear to have a decent understanding of your character. Your F Airs were predictable towards the end and a better player would have punished you for it. This is why you need to play better people, because it forces you to change and improve yourself, where as you can continue to F Air predictively against this guy and get stuck in a rut. Perfect practice makes perfect.

Everyone else already said tilt more and i 2nd er....3rd that. Also, against kirby, JAB! It keeps him from using a lot of aerials and forces him to approach from the ground which he will fail at miserably unless he gets a dash attack off (grab him if you can or just DS).

Overall, a decent marth but you've got a ways to go. Brawl other characters besides kirby and post those videos because they will be the ones you need to look out for. (DK, Falco, ZSS, MK, Snake, ROB)
