Darkrain was definitely more influential than Isai. When you think "textbook Falcon," the first playstyle that comes to mind is Darkrain circa 2006.

Also, I totally forgot about Sastopher for Sheik. I knew there was someone I was forgetting.

I recall back in Feb 07 downloading like every Ken match possible from the hub, as well as whatever Tipman/Eddie/JoeBushman Ganondorf videos I could find.

I'll reserve judgement on most of the characters, but anyone who's saying anyone but MikeG (with possible honorable mention to krazyjones) is the original and defining peach is crazy. Dude was head and shoulders above every other peach of his time.

PC's falco was quite revolutionary. I think it was the first to take a tournament from Ken back in MLG. It used to be his best character and the best falco period.

uhhh I believe PC was the first falco to beat a top marth(ken) in melee history I believe.

I have trouble understanding why people are putting Isai over Darkrain. Isai started Falcon, but he didn't really make him. Modern Falcon's more closely resemble Darkrain.

It's all good. But yeah, I put PC for Falco cause he really was a dominant force back in like 06. For a while in the MLG days it seemed like he was the only one who even had a shot at beating Ken.

haha, I didn't ever play Kirby, that was t1mmy.
I was the only Pichu main who played him in national tournaments. I think KDJ just pwned some scrubby Falco and people saw the vids and thought it was something official?
Chudat had aspirations to play Pichu in a national and had a way better Pichu than KDJ did. I played Pichu dittos with him at the OC tourneys.
Delphiki is also an honorable mention.

And Sastopher was awesome, I guess I am that oldskool to remember him (I played with Skypal back in the day, and cooked for them!)

there should just be a poll or something for some of these in question
like "who made the most influence on you to play falcon?"
and then name like all the falcons isai, darkrain, ss, scar, etc.
cuz for me its probably darkrain or ss besides isai being who he is...
he broke my heart at apex...
and i feel like for some chars the people who were featured in combo videos would be the most influential
