Smash Ace
I found a way to make the first swing of DED have a "stall" effect rather than just boosting forward.

This has been explained time and time again:is there a way you can set the fit marth to jus 1 costume or to just a specific player slot like the model hacks do so we can use both characters?
would you fell stupid if it as told 2 post ago about the clone engine that will have a marth with roy moveset and one that is the original oneit works on PAL, but is there a way now to play Marth vs Roy for example?
I like the f-smash animation too, but mostly just because it looks better, hahah.
if you rly want to keep it make it his aerial neutral B animation i wanna FSmash.
i think fsmash animation was good for grounded flareblade. 3rd up hit of DED would be fine for aerial flareblade. only thing is that the fsmash animation looks weird if you do anything quickly afterward. try holding sheild during the flareblade animation; roy still has his sword down from slashing and then all of the sudden is shielding? lol. it's all good, though.
also, taunts don't really matter at this point. -_- and recreating roy's melee taunt would be impossible at the moment, as afaik we cannot do custom animations. plus, his taunt was pretty complicated, what with the sword spinning and stuff. it'd be pretty easy to **** up and make it look like he was killing himself rofl.
Yeah, so basically I'm just reposting what people said about the fsmash animation lol. I think that people overwhelmingly want the fsmash animation for the grounded neutral b. As for the aerial (this is like for the third time I'm saying this lol), I would prefer fsmash, but other people are more open to the 3rd up hit DED instead.I like Fsmash for neutral B.
Hows the over B height thing going?
please... everybody READ THE FORUM BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION... this question has been asked at least once every 5 pages. can we get someone to put that on the front page or in the title now its getting agrivating.it works on PAL, but is there a way now to play Marth vs Roy for example?
How do we adjust just the frame speed modifier and frame speed engine codes for brawl+?Codes I am using in case some one needs them this should be a vBrawl set with Jump/gravity changes from Marth to Roy.Code:Jump/Grav Values [29 Lines] 065A9200 000000E0 0025CB60 0114F440 02687580 0325EB40 0465CB40 05448440 0626AC80 0744A440 0834C440 0926AC80 0A47C790 0B33C530 0C36CB60 0D24C440 0E35CA60 0F06E840 1157DBE0 1244C440 1326AC80 14568440 1544C440 1624E830 1745C850 1824C640 1935CB60 1A55E950 1B35CA60 1D45CA30 1E26E640 1F55C640 2045A340 216875C0 22468550 2345CA60 2534F440 2944EA40 2C55C180 2E36CB60 2F34ED40 3F4CCCCD 3F59999A 3F666666 3F733333 3F800000 3F833333 3F866666 3F89999A 3F8CCCCD 3F900000 3F933333 3F966666 3F99999A 3FA00000 3FA66666 3FB33333 3ECCCCCC Roy V6 (P2) 28708D68 00FF1300 48000000 805A9364 DE000000 80009380 14000060 3F705953 140000F0 20005953 140000FC 20005953 140001A4 3FA25953 140002C4 3FA25953 14000330 3F9C5953 14000300 3F905953 1400030C 3F905953 140002A0 3F005953 14000270 3F905953 14000150 3F505953 1400015C 3F505953 14000174 3F505953 14000180 3F505953 1400018C 3F505953 14000294 3F505953 140002A0 3F505953 140002AC 3F505953 E0000000 80008000 Roy V6 (P1) 28708D68 00FF1300 48000000 805A9360 DE000000 80009380 14000060 3F705953 140000F0 20005953 140000FC 20005953 140001A4 3FA25953 140002C4 3FA25953 14000330 3F9C5953 14000300 3F905953 1400030C 3F905953 140002A0 3F005953 14000270 3F905953 14000150 3F505953 1400015C 3F505953 14000174 3F505953 14000180 3F505953 1400018C 3F505953 14000294 3F505953 140002A0 3F505953 140002AC 3F505953 E0000000 80008000 Partial Size Modifier Set Pointers [Phantom Wings] C283CAA4 00000006 80A30064 80A50020 80A5000C A8850002 80B90010 80A500AC 5484103E 38840040 7CA2212E 3CA01000 60000000 00000000 Skip Write: C21A86E8 00000004 C01B0000 A89B0002 2C045953 4182000C C002A078 67A44000 60000000 00000000 C2046AF8 00000004 C0170000 A8970002 2C045953 41820008 C00284C8 7E248B78 60000000 00000000 File Patch Code v3.5.1 (NTSC-U) [Phantom Wings] E0000000 80008000 225664EC 00000000 0401BFE0 4858BE20 065A7E00 00000070 38A00067 38810020 3CE0805A 60E37C18 4BE52531 38A0007F 3883FFE8 38610020 4BE52521 38A00068 60E47C18 38610020 9421FF80 BC410008 38610088 4BA74DB9 7C7C1B78 2C030000 4082000C 38210080 4800001C B8410008 38210080 4BE524E5 38610008 4BA742E1 7C7C1B78 4BA741E8 040223E0 48585BC0 065A7FA0 00000028 80010044 3C608001 6063581C 7C001800 4082000C 7FDDC850 3BDEFFE0 93DB0008 4BA7A424 00000000 0401CD0C 4858B1F4 065A7F00 00000038 2C030000 4182000C 4BA7DD51 4BA74E04 80780008 2C030000 41820014 8118000C 7C634214 7C7B1850 48000008 8078000C 4BA74DE0 00000000 043EE9D8 48000014 043EEBD4 48000014 043D8B9C 48000018 043E9B4C 38600000 043E9D38 38600000 043D8C80 60000000 80000000 80406920 80000001 805A7C00 8A001001 00000000 045A7C10 2F525342 045A7C14 452F7066 80000001 805A7B00 8A001001 00000000 065A7B10 0000000F 2F525342 452F7066 2F736F75 6E642F00 041C6CE0 483E0D20 065A7A00 00000028 9421FF80 BC410008 3C60805A 60637B1F 4BE52931 B8410008 38210080 4BE52995 4BC1F2C4 00000000 065A7900 00000078 9421FF80 7C0802A6 9001000C BC810010 9421FF00 7C872378 54B2BA7E 7CD33378 38800000 9081000C 90810010 90610014 90810018 3880FFFF 9081001C 38610020 90610008 7CE43B78 38A00080 4BE529F5 38610008 4BA752A1 60000000 80210000 B8810010 8001000C 7C0803A6 80210000 4E800020 00000000 043E399C 481C3F04 065A78A0 00000010 80BC0020 7CA59214 3A400000 4BE3C0F4 043DBAEC 481CBDE4 065A78D0 00000018 800302A4 2C130000 41820008 7E609B78 3A600000 4BE3420C 041CDF7C 483D9884 065A7800 00000098 818C0014 9421FF80 BC410008 3D009034 61089D94 7C034000 4082003C 7C882378 3C60804D 60630000 3C80805A 60847B00 7CC53378 38C04200 80E40080 2C070000 40820014 60000000 480000B9 2C030000 41820010 B8410008 80210000 4BC26724 70A501FF 3868FFFF 3C80804C 6084FFFF 7C842A14 38A04001 38A5FFFF 8C040001 9C030001 2C050000 4082FFF0 B8410008 80210000 4BC2670C 141CCF90 483DA770 065A7700 00000048 9421FF80 BC410008 7FE3FB78 3C80805A 60847B00 38A00000 38C04000 480001E5 90640080 807F0008 907A0014 907A005C 907A0074 B8410008 80210000 807F0000 4BC25854 00000000 E0000000 80008000 Frame Speed Mod Engine V3.1 [spunit262, Phantom Wings] C2766C20 00000012 3C008180 807D0008 8063FFFC 7C030000 4080000C 80630030 48000008 386000FF 809D0014 C0240040 FC40081E 81240058 61298000 D8410008 8001000C 80BD007C 80A50038 38C200D8 84E60008 2C070000 41820038 7CE8C671 41A0000C 7C081800 4082FFE8 54E8863E 7C004000 41A0FFDC 54E8043E 7C082800 4182000C 7C084800 4082FFC8 C0060004 D01F0010 00000000 C2766FB8 00000003 2C1D0001 4182000C C0230010 48000008 C02283C8 00000000 Hitbox Property Mod Engine 2.0 [Phantom Wings, spunit262. what was explained was an engine that would allow us to pick roy from the css using one of the alloys. im suggesting a temparary shortcut to tie roy to the controller portThis has been explained time and time again:
Almas is working on a clone engine that will allow Roy to be one of Marth's costumes, meaning all his grav, hitboxes, and so forth would be tied to one of Marth's costumes.
Did you adjust the hex value of the first line, scrub?Man. I just tried taking the 7-21 Nightly and sticking in the Roy Frame Speed Mods (and taking out Marth's) without remembering that one can only have a limited number of them and...Well, the code doesn't simply tell you that there's too much code. You end up with 3x running momentum when you jump from a walk.
Just an fyi to anyone wanting to try the new Roy with proper Frame adjustments. You must delete other frame speed mods. >_>
Also, camelot, you're a beast.
Maybe I didn't. I just replaced the lines starting with 11 in the Frame Speed data. I don't know very much about hex at all. I thought your post said just to use those lines, but I'll check again.Did you adjust the hex value of the first line, scrub?![]()
I guess I could....Could we also try the DB 4 Forward for Flare Blade? Someone mentioned it a while back, and it just got skipped over.

Blah. No, I didn't. I'm not entirely sure how to adjust it because I don't know hex.Maybe I didn't. I just replaced the lines starting with 11 in the Frame Speed data. I don't know very much about hex at all. I thought your post said just to use those lines, but I'll check again.
EDIT: Sweet. It doesn't even matter if you release the .pac with it. I just want it to at least be tested so we can get the better looking/more functional one, and DB4 sounded like it'd work. Just use whichever one works better. Thanks, man.I guess I could.
Count the number of lines in the code and then subtract 1. Multiply that number by 8. Oh ya, the convert it to hex.Blah. No, I didn't. I'm not entirely sure how to adjust it because I don't know hex.

Brawl+ roy and brawl+ marth have completely different playstyles.I'm considering downloading this one. Only thing about it is that I suck with Marth.
eh, in DB 4 forward, roy jumps forward, though, and i personally don't really want thatMaybe I didn't. I just replaced the lines starting with 11 in the Frame Speed data. I don't know very much about hex at all. I thought your post said just to use those lines, but I'll check again.

Agreed.eh, in DB 4 forward, roy jumps forward, though, and i personally don't really want that
This has been explained countless times, in this thread and others. At the moment, it is impossible to repackage the file that contains voice clips and sound effects, meaning it is impossible to import SFX from an outside source and put them in Brawl. Unless the SFX already exists on the disks, and Roy's voice doesn't, then we can't mess with it right now. The best we can do is alter his voice pitch to sound more like Roy's, which people don't really seem to be talking about much.I know as soon as model hacking becomes present, Roy's original hair will possibly come back, but are you planning on giving him his Melee voice clips?
And the fact that raising his pitch would raise all other characters' voices as well. And trust me, Peach and Jigglypuff with an even higher than normal voice is NOT pretty. This has been explained countless times, in this thread and others.
