duo I have never seen a diddy or lucario ever have trouble recovering on PS2

and for whatever reason I Feel like you havent even set foot on that stage...because if thats you but defense for that

And as a falco/Zelda player, I can say I can find the sweetspot on FD and Lylat but not on PS2. Phantasm gets f'd by it and firebird gets wrecked. At least on FD you can survive the lip if you use the firebird's slight tech/DI. Don't sound ignorant and say that the ledge on PS2 is not worse than those other stages. yes those other stages have crappy ledges but PS2 far exceeds those in crappiness.

I just want a civil discussion on this stage. Please don't post such abrasive comments like this one. Duo isn't being selfish. Many characters get their recoveries f'd by that stage. Honestly, you should try to counter arguments with better evidence rather than these blatantly wrong things.

Sorry I still <3 you. But this whole post really pissed me off.

I just want to keep the ad hominem out of this discussion. I wanted it to be a serious discussion on the fairness of the stage. Arguments like "you're being selfish" get us nowhere. If we allow people's opinions to be shut down by blatantly off-topic and wrong comments such as this, then we will really get nowhere.

The stage isn't that bad tbh, me and Steve have played there quite a few times. I'm not really a fan of it and it does indeed cater moreso to grounded characters on certain parts of the stage. The ledges aren't really bad at all, and it's VERY easy to tech as well

um, that poll was made by a regular user and he actually says he meant to put melee, not brawl on the thing. haha.

edit; It was literally a guy with less than 50 post on the MLG forums. lol.

meh, either way, brawl will more than likely make it on.

doubt what snap said about accidentally putting it up instead of melee though... like how do you make a mistake like that? if it was numbers like halo 1 and halo 2, i could see, but u have to write out the words "melee" and "brawl"

plus lol, why would he have not put melee on as well... like he did with halo 2 and halo 3?

clearly he meant for just brawl.

you should listen to the podcast. He has made it very clear that brawl will certainly not return next season (though he didn't say ever it certainly sounded like that). Honestly, the guy (sundance) sounded like a complete ******* when talking about brawl. It may return as a throwback event but it will not be on the regular circuit. We may as well get past MLG and just look at our big tourneys: Pound, Apex, etc. They get better turnouts and MLG didn't like that. lol too bad. We still have a thriving community without MLG.
