it doesn't matter to me reguardless. I'll just pick from one of my many competent subs if anyone takes me there. but just know i have been screwed by the ledge twice in tourney. i know how to recover w my character, i dont get killed by the lip of the stage or by its limited acessibility. i get killed when fox just doesnt grab the ledge even though my aim was spot on. happens on lylat too.

I mean bottom line there are many terrible stages in brawl but its what we have been given

and unless we are able to start playing on custom stages (and I have made a lot of neutral custom stages...lol)

I don't see anything changing..I mean we already turned off a majority of the ******** stages but when you look at the banned stages and then the counterpicks..I think PS2 is much closer to counterpicks then the banned stages

also I think pirate ship should be on...the hazards arent THAT bad compared to some of the other hazards in legal stages.

While we do indeed have slim pickings as far as stages go, that doesn't mean we have to allow such an obviously bad stage for the sake of variety. Also i think all hazard stages should be banned like norfair and halberd. The stage should not interupt the fight. Hazard stages are anti competitive.

a neutral is supposed to be a stage where everyone is equal on and where people go to decide who's truly better than the other.

but you guys have all these stages with gimmicks that certain characters can use to make the stage work to their advantage.

also i don't see why how much fun a stage list is should matter in an argument. if that's you're only reason then wtf.

TWITCH you're looking at this from a different viewpoint...not necessarily a wrong one, but a different one.
basically there are two groups.
one thinks "what stages should be left legal?"
and the other thinks "what stages should be banned?"

the former selects stages that should be legal, which they then give harsher criteria for
the latter selects stages that should be banned, which are only those with broken strategies.

counterpicks are put in to give the loser an "Edge" in the next match

I mean this has been a "since day one" thing

but they way you are speaking...you are basically going to have a tourney solely ran on SV (Because everyone picks that anyway)
