Well Sakurai already made it clear he ain't doing it. Who else could work well with making another Kid Icarus game? I don't suppose they'll make us wait another 20 years or so for another one to come out.
Retro Studios maybe? After all, they did take the Metroid series and make it into something utterly fantastic. Maybe they can apply some of their magic to Kid Icarus.
That's why I said someone brave. Unless Sakurai decided to change his mind about it, maybe someone like Kojima since he's already been fired from Konami. I think someone like him could do the games justice, if he never get Metal Gear back.
Would he even be open to working with Nintendo? And even if he was, are you sure he wouldn't make the games with plotlines that nobody can understand?
Bleh, Kid Icarus talk, and Uprising at that. Love the gameplay since it reminds me of Starfox but **** the dialogue and to a point the controls. I've only ever played the first two or three levels but I've watched an lp of the entire game and I can easily say I will never beat that game because the dialogue is cringeworthy through out pretty much the entire game, though Hades is cool at the very least.
In my opinion everything about the game was just spot on, from the controls to the dialogue and everything in between. There's just one issue that every player needs to be aware of: The game is absolute HELL on your touch screen, especially if you play at Intensity 9 constantly.
Also, a lot of talk about Slippy...I'd rather Wolf (obviously), Krystal and Leon over Slippy. Leon is to Wolf what Falco is to Fox and the two (Leon and Falco) are rivals after all.
Meh, I think Slippy's more of a sideline character anyway. Wolf should come first.
When I made my first post in here, I only read page 196, since then I've read 195-this page and from what I gathered, someone mentioned not liking Geno (I don't care for him) or at least his fans and I don't even remember how Bandana Dee got mentioned. I'd like the latter but would rather Krystal over him. We need a lance user in Smash, too many swords and this game took 1(2) of the hammers away.
Geno's alright I guess, I did use him a lot in Super Mario RPG, but I don't really like him so much that I believe he's a worthy candidate. As for the Dee, I don't think the spear alone is enough to justify his inclusion. I once heard an idea somewhere that he could be more representative of
's other weapon-based abilities, like Bomb, Beam, Laser and others. Now something like that I can roll with. But I suppose that's for a different thread.
So every time Slippy uses his Blaster, he gets hurt by the recoil?
That would be funny.
