Didn't see this earlier, and for once Leafy, I'm going to have to disagree with you. The SCAR's small clip size doesn't lend well to using it to shoot through cover, as you'll find yourself running out of ammo often, especially without Scav/Ext. Mags. I don't like using the SCAR all too much though any more, so I could be wrong.

"If you're gonna use a Silenced AR, use the TAR-21."
^This I agree with x10 though.
I think this is just a preference thing.

I prefer FMJ because Extended Mags don't suit my playstyle. I'm usually really conservative with my bullets. But I love being able to shoot through things like butter, and catching an enemy running around the corner. I'm also used to picking up weapons off the floor, so the lack of ammo is generally not a problem for me.

I barely use the SCAR myself, and have only unlocked FMJ for it twice. I have less than 1000 Prestige kills for it. TAR-21 ALL DAY!

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to having my way with playing with you guys tomorrow. :)

What's your TAR class/classes if you don't mind me asking.

Tar 21 silenced all teh way.

I think the major turn down for the tar though is the horizontal, random recoil. I use the scare way more since I just can't adjust to it.

4/7 of my classes are usually TAR-21, just saying.

TAR-21 @ Silencer
M93 Raffica @ Silencer
Claymore / Smoke
Scavenger
Stopping Power
Ninja

TAR-21 @ Holographic
G18 Akimbo
Semtex / Stun x2
SoH / Marathon
Stopping Power
Ninja

TAR-21 @ FMJ
PP2000 @ FMJ
Frag / Flash x2
SoH
Stopping Power
Ninja

If I get Noobtubed more than once in a game, I usually switch to this:

TAR-21 @ Grenade Launcher
One Man Army
Frag / Smoke
OMA Pro
Danger Close Pro
Commando Pro

For the most part, they're pretty standard.

My other three classes are a standard RDS FAMAS, a Cold Blooded Stinger class, and a Barrett .50 Cal l33t hardscoper setup.

I burst fire a lot, but the TAR is still hard to control. It takes a long time for it steady after you fire then stop, and with the Scar I either don't have to burst fire or it's pretty easy to do so with. The tar is much better close range, I just can't get over its recoil, even with burst firing. With the Scar you just need to pick the right times to reload and know when not to. Never had a problem with the clip size.

Scar Silenced (Sexy red tiger)
Scavenger Pro
Stopping power Pro
Ninja Pro/Sitrep Pro - Get a good headset to benefit from sitrep
Claymores

<3 that setup

Delta said something about it yesterday. Personally, I don't care too much about it for two reasons:

1. I haven't played Call of Duty in the past week.

2. The doesn't come out on the PS3 until July 6th.

However, when I do start playing, Bare Bones is probably the only thing I'll play, as long as people don't camp like little baby buffalo.

I'm out for the game day since I accidentally scratched the **** out of my disc today. It won't play online now at all.

Also, I don't like that Scar class much, just personal preference though. I have two Scar classes I switch between:

Scar H w/ Extended Mags
Akimbo G18s//PP2000 Extended Mags
Frag//Stuns
Marathon
Stopping Power
Ninja Pro

Scar w/ Extended Mags
PP2000 Extended Mags
Semtex//Stuns
Marathon
Cold Blooded
Ninja

I guess my classes are mainly for Search considering it's what I play, but I don't see the need for Scav on the Scar really. Once you get used to shooting it enough, I essentially burst at least 2-3 bullets. Since it's a 2 shot, the habit really conserves bullets. Also, a better alternative to Scav is OMA for TD and such, so I really don't see the need at all. Silencer is okay to begin with, but you're def gonna want to go for the Extended Mags. Its seriously mad legit. I also don't see the need for Claymores on this class, especially seeing how Roach played. He's not the, camp with claymores type. You get a get more versatility with the Frag grenade, especially if you know the spots on smaller maps. I get spawn kills in almost every pub now with a frag.

Also, stingers are meh, PP2000 <3.
Yeah... I'm not really the camping type, and I think I'll go with Semtexes on it instead. It works best for me when I try to actually take OUT campers, since for some reason they are ******** enough to stay in one place instead of running away

But SCAR is mad sexy

Is Barebones all that we got?

And YES! A mode where I can play without getting screwed over and not feeling the pressure to get a Harrier when I have 6 kills (that's a high for me so yeah)

I use those middle two Tar classes, Leafy. Except perhaps tweaked a little. But like I said, my opinion on the Scar classes come purely from GB and Search. I don't use the Scar much in Pub search cause I do run out of ammo, and have to pick up weapons Or just rely on my PP a my main weapon. Which it is full on able to do on compact maps.

Another good AR Class is (actually 2):

ACR @ RDS
PP2000 Ext. Mags
Semtex//Stuns
SoH
Stopping Power
Ninja

Then for when dumb ***** call a ?UAV in before the allowed time to switch weapons:

ACR @ RDS
PP2000 Silenced
Semtex//Stuns
SoH
Cold Blooded
Ninja

Honetly, you should never be using any other attachment on this gun than the RDS. It is by far the best there is.

Also, anyone looking to try out a good rushing gun? Mini Uzi Ext. Mags<3

The ACR does not need a sight at all, you are much better off with another attachment (dare I suggest noob tube?).

Eww, noob tube. Also, banned in GB, so yeah. I'd definitely go with the RDS.

Sorry, didn't know you meant for use in GB. Everyone uses RDS in that though (exception of Holo on the TAR) just because you can't use the tube and silencer is pretty useless due to team communication.

God, I just had the best match of my life right now

I managed to get a 25 killstreak in TDM without AC130s or any of those important killstreaks

All I needed was a predator missile and a harrier :D

Bad thing I didn't have my nuke equipped :'(

I hate how barebone replaced mosh pit because I still enjoy getting the challenges for the kill streaks and me and my usual party have been playing mosh pit since the game came out. Barely anyone plays 3rd person team tact (even though it can be fun sometimes), but they don't need...like....3 deathmatch playlist. The resurgence map pack has been out long enough as well, they could have taken those out. Hell, they didn't even NEED top take out anything, they could have just added the playlist.

Does anyone here use a headset? I'm looking at either buying Triton AX Pros or Astro A40s, anyone got any input? Turtle Beaches are out of the question btw, too much negative feedback.

I don't have either, but I know a guy with the Astro A40s. Haven't heard any complaints from him

If you honestly have the money, go for the Astros. The Tritton AX Pro is not worth the money, and you'd be better off with the AX720s.

This is just what I've learned from friends. I've only tried the Astros, and ****, they're great.

I use turtle beaches, and only one day they didn't work for some reason, but they've never done anything since. I hear Astros are really nice, though. I'd actually like to try a pair myself, seeing as a lot of people say they work better, although I don't know how.

Also, I'm getting angry at this new HDTV I bought. It has about a fourth of a second of input lag, and I can tell when I play. Does anyone else have a 32 inch HDTV that they play with? I don't want to return mine, but if there's a better option, then I see no point in having a separate TV in my room just for my xbox. Any suggestions out there?

I use a 48" HDTV and I sit on the floor right in front of it because I'm blind.

I have no idea how people can play on HDTVs. I tried playing on my 55" in my living room, and I honestly don't think I've ever played so horribly before.

Ok, so I have that SCAR class that was suggested, but could someone suggest me a better perk than Ninja Pro? Since TDM isn't meant to be the sneakiest mode, I want to something that is less sneaky and more useful to me in TDM
