So, a really weird thing happened to me at school the last coupel of days.

First, my English teacher said to me at the end of class "Whats up? You havn't been as jubilant as usual? did you have a bad day or something?"

That was weird enough, considering my day was pretty good.

Next day, in German, my teacher said "You ok? You seem a little bummed out".

Nothing bad happened to me. Why do i seem so down?

This is weird man...

Think thats weird?

My whole class went OOC on me. People acted the opposite of what they would do. Me? I just did the same. Scream, scream and more scream.

I'm going to have to go with Peeze here, there's probably something troubling you without your acknowledgment, but your behavior is telegraphing something is amiss.

But really I'm not you and I'm just as puzzled by this.

Maybe since your day was pretty good, maybe they noticed that, but thinking you were having a bad day. Maybe you act weird when you feel pretty good.

Try University acting professors. No one else that I know of can make a student lash out in rage, cringe in fear or burst into tears, almost on command. She is Nuts. I only witnessed it, I didn't experience it firsthand, thankfully.

No he's right, drugs are the worst things you could put into your body. Any drug, legal or not.
That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Certainly, putting certain drugs into your body heeds consequences, yet these consequences are known and the user does (or should) take this knowledge into accord.

However, I find it unlikely you could believe that legal drugs, such as anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication, or the numerous amounts of painkillers (Opioids, namely) are the worst things for people when used correctly.

How could you tell someone with cancer that they can't be allowed their pain medication? What about sufferers from social anxiety, PTSD, clinical depression, etc. I believe there are certainly cases that medicine is the best option. Required? No, certainly not. However, when going untreated, the effects of the disease are far worse than the effects of the drug (effects, being good).

it's cause obama won. haha.

so even if you were having a pretty good day, the teachers were having a party in their pants and in comparison made it seem like you were not so great.

When did i say they can't take it? I said drugs are the worst things you can put in your body. Find something edible thats worse. And anti-depressants are the worst, taken correctly or not! The side effects are worse thanwhat its treating.

Explain why he said "legal or not" then. That insinuates he is talking about the regular types as well.

Where did I say you said they couldn't take it? Something edible that's worse, how about dog ****, salt, sodium, saturated and trans fats, cow piss, goat bile etc. All of these things are edible, despite how plausible it is to eat them (or solely them).

Anti-depressants do have side effects, but they occur in a small percentage of patients, and are counter-acted simply by switching to a different type of drug. Often times there are no side effects at all. I don't believe that the "side effects" are worse than what's being treated at all. As someone who's had depression, and been around people with it, I think I have a fair amount of experience. Not to mention numerous certified physicians who agree that while medicine is not always the answer, in some cases it certainly is (or can be).

What knowledge do you have of the benefits/detriments of anti-depressants in regards to side-effects/desired effects? (Note: I'm not being snide here, and am actually interested).

I invite you to snort a kilo of salt-laden sodium saturated, trans fat saturated, cow piss flavored goat bile-dog ****, and then snort a kilo of cocaine and see which kills you faster.

Dude you don't just "switch" drugs like its freaking Tylenol. Do you know how (most) antidepressants work? By controlling(and manipulating) the level of cetain chemicals in your brain. Which in most cases helps, but ****ing with your brain is always dangerous. Pretty sure cow piss can't do that.

Actually, you do switch drugs a lot when it comes to depression :p. It's like a super-fun rollercoaster of coloured pills, trying to find which gives the least debilitating side effects.

Without the fun.

In general though, I wouldn't say taking any drug is the worst thing you can do to your body. Clearly, there's something wrong with your body already; not taking the drug results in more harm.
