Before I answer are we just talking about the 8 main Mavericks of a game?

Shame that when hes hit with Ray Splasher, he does anything but defy gravity.GRAVITY BEETLE
My favorite Maverick probably because I've always loved bosses that defy the laws of physics. Plus his stage theme is awesome (on SNES anyway)
Chill Penguin looks like Danny Devito.Obviously Chill Penguin!
Worst select stage-Maverick?Request, can we do worst Maverick next?
I like Gigabolt's stage though tbh.I agree on Tornado Tonion.
Gigabolt Man-O-War looks like ****, too.
Seeing as how random Megaman Bosses keep poppin' up across the boards, Earthrock Trilobyte will get you for that.I'm not going to bother posting pics because they don't deserve it.
Just please, no one make a Flame Hyenard account.Seeing as how random Megaman Bosses keep poppin' up across the boards, Earthrock Trilobyte will get you for that.
To do that, he would have to come out of his shell first!Seeing as how random Megaman Bosses keep poppin' up across the boards, Earthrock Trilobyte will get you for that.
Actually i quite like Snipe Anteater and Dark Mantis. Dark Mantis is actually in my top 10, and I think X8 is actually one of the best X games. People just gave up after X7 and didn't give it a fair shake imo (same with Axl, who is one of my favorite characters)I like how no one's favorite comes from any of the post X6 games, but everyone's least favorites all come from those games. ...says alot about that era of the X series.

It absolutely is man, X8 is honestly in my top 3 X games (losing out to only X2 and X3) and while my opinion by no means should be taken as fact, it's a really enjoyable game. The action works well, it has challenge, but nothing is broken challenging (Hello X6) and it can be very rewarding. The presentation for the game is great too, great voices, a good look (even if you're not into the skinnier designs, it's still a good look with the game engine), and some of the levels are great fun, shoutouts to Gravity Antonion.I finished X5 with my last ounce of interest. Played X6 MANY years later just because I felt like playing another X game, but I can't say I enjoyed it... I was NOT content with the level design. A lot of 1 hit KO stuff flying everywhere, and lots of spiked/bottomless pits.
X7 tried it for a while, but I quickly lost interest for not being able to pick X from the get-go. I know NOW you can get him later on... but the game's called MEGA MAN X, and not playing as either character in the title was... well a real bummer.
I've heard X8 is actually really worth it, though.
I'll admit, I may be guilty of that myself, as it took me awhile to tolerate Axl (about 2-3 years). Though he was very useful in Command Mission.Actually i quite like Snipe Anteater and Dark Mantis. My phone hates to double quote but ---, LMFAO

There is no doubt that X8 is most certainly better than X6 and X7, that is almost a universal consensus. Your mileage may very on where it stands against X1-X5 though. IMO, the quality of the X series drops after X4 for various reasons. I mean I had good memories with X8 but it didn't wow me like X3 or X4 did. Ironically, I quite love Command Mission due to being an RPG (my favorite genre) featuring Megaman X. It gives him the spotlight he deserves and I like the story and protagonist character designs. In fact, as of right now MMXCM is actually my third favorite X game after X4 and X3.It absolutely is man, X8 is honestly in my top 3 X games (losing out to only X2 and X3) and while my opinion by no means should be taken as fact, it's a really enjoyable game.
