Lmao, now that's homo. So, what's going on wednesday for the usual weeklie? Nothing or do we set it somewhere else? I personally was waiting for that epic falcon vs ganon crew battle, but except of that, bleh. Oh, and for smash 64 =P. I guess we could do the Crew tomorrow if there is enough people.

Well, I've been following this board as per recommendation of a friend. He went to a previous weekly and enjoyed himself, so he wants me to come to the next session. However, I get extremely insulted and angered when these frenchies think they can run their mouth about english people as they please, thinking they can be free from repercussions. This is a bilingual country and I will not stand for such comments. The worst part? My french is better than his and that is all I wanted to show.

On a better note:

Hi I'm Matt and I'm a smash-olic

Where would it be?
if it is just a few of us, i think i might be able to. Only if it is a few, cuz i could pick up the people, most people are too lazy to take a 5 min bus ride from angrignon to my house lol.

If not i think kirt would do it if he doesnt have work

Hi Matt. I'm Joel and if you're one of System Failure 333's friends then I'm a West Island Smasher too. Nice to meet you.

Safe to say there are no issues here concerning language. In person, most of the francophones here go through the effort to speak English as well, and the majority of them are very fluent. Any possibly offending comments spoken on the forums regarding language and culture are good-natured jabs at best. That being said, you'll need to understand that 90% of stuff said on the forums is complete bull****, so please try to appreciate sarcasm.

I actually think the Smash community has coped really well with language barriers. I personally have never been uncomfortable around any of the French people in this community, even when I'm the only English guy around (and I've been around this community since 2005). Some of the French people here do have some difficulties speaking English, however, so you'll have to understand that some will probably post exclusively in French. And it's a forum, so no reason to nitpick at people's spelling/grammar unless the post is completely illegible.

Respect people and they'll respect you, otherwise you're alienating yourself from most of the community, and the skilled portion at that.

Hello Everyone,

Unforunately, we must cancel this week's SuperSmash on Wednesday, July 23rd. We sent a couple of emails but since we did not get a response, we though it best to post on your forum.

We are sorry for the short notice, it could not be helped. Back to a normal schedule on Wednesday, July 30.

Some of the francophones ive meant from smash are some of the nicest people ive ever met. The fact that they try to speak english (since i am suck in french) is something i really do appreciate .

Let's not forget i do try to speak french aswell, so it isnt just a one way thing =P

i want one at my house, im sure agony will come. You can come fil, so can anyone else.

I will if I'm not alone to go...I wanna play 64 and a bit of brawl. I'm thinking of power upping my MK to put it as my overall counter pick. My mains will still be the space animals, though. I just found a new way to edge grab with MK, not that bad...
