Well at this point I'm looking into smaller smashfests for mainly the tampa area.

But I just found a smexy tourny venue like 2 minutes from my house.

But I have no resources so I'm going to need a little help. Im thinking I can host a tourney in Januaryish.

And there can be melee if the demand is there.

i would love to go..but my car is still f'ed up.BUT..sometime in may or june im goin on TOUR...imma goto every part of FL. imma start with west fl and pretty much out line go north and than east than south than some how go central...that my friends is a circle...i will make a thread when time gets close..if any 1 would like to be down PM..not right now its jus food 4 the brain..we will be gone for a while..maybe a month..my car can hold about e-z 4 people..but again when time gets close i will post it up and have a permission slip thingy...but ill try and come to this

So here's the deal. I talked to my mom, and she said I can host a tournament in late janurary/Early february.
So if I host any smashfests, they'll prolly be just lil tampa gatherings at my house.

But If I hosted a good sized tournament both Melee and Brawl singles and Dubz who would be interested? I'm confident I could get at least 5 setups and Wiis just from tampa so that probably won't be a problem. Also, based on our PnT tournout plus extra advertising at Gamestop/colleges/schools I think it wouldn't be unlikely for a 50+ brawl people turnout, even though quite a few would be nubs lol. I can't say for melee and dubz.

Eds offered to help me with hosting and organizing but if anyone from tampa can guarantee Wiis and or TVs please speak now. I have about 4 wiis and 2 TVs already pretty much confirmed. I think the venue has tables and chairs. I dont know if people need housing, but if anyone can help with that that'd be awsome. Restaraunts and grocery stores are all over the place so food shouldnt be a problem.

I'll prolly use that Umbreons ruleset, though I'll make a few modifications to it to make it less constricting stage wise. Keep Infinites and Stalling banned.

Any suggestions/offers?

No actually Im hosting a tournament at a venue in my neighborhood. It date will depend on when the PnT ones are though, cuz I dont want to hurt my turnout if they're too close together.

I told him about it, but him and his friends already decided to attend the PnT tourney in Orlando lol. Sorry. You guys need to get together and get acquainted with each other though lol. Next smashfest he'll definetly attend and bring all of Santa Fe with him.

Two things.

Green light for brawl at my house on Saturday. 3-8pm. Will be drinks, probably food, somebody bring another Wii. If someone could bring another TV that'd be cool too (we could have 2 brawl and 1 melee setup).

Also, the tournament may be moved back to Middle of March or so (my mom wants to make sure I've gotten into college before I host something like that

). But all the more time to advertise and prepare.

PS: Tio tournament organizer is too good.
