He beats a lot of the crap that Bowser struggles with. Including other Dededes. XD

Too bad he still loses to ICs and Diddy.

I'd pick him if only to spike with his UpB for major lols. And Vex uses him (over Bowser T_T), so he can't be all bad.

Dedede is a solid choice due to him locking down a few characters quite well, not only the 5 Infinite victims. He's a great character and easy to get started with, and I personally think he's not too hard to get used to play with, as he's rather straight forward.
He's a heavy character and big, so a Bowser player might find himself at home here. He's, though, less mobile than Bowser overall, and pretty much only his close-ranged attacks are quick. He has an acceptable projectile, and his awesome grabgame should be a comfy place to be for a Bowser player.

As MrEh said, already... he doesn't really deal well with Bowser's very bad matchups. Dedede is a ditto, Diddy and Ice Climbers, though, are bad matchups for Dedede, as well. And funny enough, Zelda, Sheik and their combination is the same as Bowser's, too. I know it doesn't matter much, but I found it still funny and worth a mention.

Dedede can be a solid choice for a secondary if you are able to play him properly. If you're looking, though, for a character who is covering Bowser's bad matchups, you should keep looking.

Game & Watch is a blast to play as. I don't know a thing about his match ups and whatnot, I just know that I was dispointed at how bad he was in Melee and loved how good he is in Brawl.

Plus, you have the Judgement Hammer for the truely clutch player.

Ahhh G&W my secondary. He is easy to pick up and has advantageous matchups against Dedede and IC's which are Bowsers main problems overalll a good choice of secondary I think.

Game is a pretty good choice if you're looking for a second main. He's easy to use and he covers some of the matchups Bowser has trouble with. He's A LOT better from his Melee standpoint, and he's very strong [just like Bowser]. He is light though, so for Bowser mains you gotta get used to putting effort into living longer, simply because the Flatty isn't a Fatty. He only covers some matchups, but to me IC's and D3, D3 especially, are some pretty bad matchups. He doesn't do so hot against Marth or Snake though, so if you need someone to at least go even or do well against those two, then continue the search.

He's pretty enjoyable to play imo, and as Jay said, the Hammer is beastly o_0. So if you're willing to pick up the black man, have fun; he won't disappoint you...hopefully.

Marth looks like that one guy you used to sneer at in high school. You know the one I'm talking about. The pretty boy with the good looks and never less than two women on each arm. D:<

..... >.>

Oh yeah, Marth. He's great to pick up once you learn the art of spacing and can tipper every attack. Like Bowser, he has a good UpB OoS. Not as good as Fortress of course and his shield is smaller, but it works. Marth can camp pretty well if he wants. He seems to be based more on his air game and he has terrible Tilts with the exception of DTilt. His recovery isn't as good as Bowser's, so make sure you DI your *** off. He ***** with the platforms more than Bowser can which can be unnerving to face, but refreshing to play as yourself.

He's a great pick up and play character as long you can space and know how awesome his Dancing Blade is. Don't know how well he deals with Bowser's bad match ups, but I assume he does well against the penguin and the Climbers. I recommend Marth personally.

Ewww, Marth.

Not bad. But there's better counterpicks. Does decent against Bowser's 3 worst matchups. But just decent.

I'm on a MSPaint trip, so I've decided to make a chart for this. So if everyone could rate the "counter pick-ability" of each character so far and as we go on a 1 to 5 scale with 5 being the best, that would really help me out. I already have MK down as a 5/1. We all know he's a 5, but the only people who play Meta Knight are Meta Knight mains, which we are not.

Let's just skip every character and get to Jigglypuff already.
Next week, promised. Then we finally have a MANLY character here.

@Everyone:
I was wondering, should we make a team partner thread, too? :3

Same difference. :p

... Okay, not really. In my defense my thread is a discussion topic and Spade's idea would, of course, also be a discussion topic. >.> It's obviously not popular though and Spade's doing a great job in these threads. Forgot I said anything. XD

Also, give me numbers for my chart please thanks. :O

She beats Diddy, has a slight advantage on the IC, and goes even with Dedede.

I love Jiggs.

I love playing as Wario. I constantly go for grabs just so I can poke people in the crotch. :D I'm fairly certain he does well against Bowser's bad match ups, so even if you're not looking to just have fun he's still a good counter pick.

He can beat all three of Bowser's death matchups.

Wario is Jiggs, but worse against Diddy. lol

^^^Couldn't you use Samus then..or Fox or Falco [not quite Falco] or Wolf then...? o.o

Anyway...Rob gets Cg'd by D3, so idk if he's viable for that. However, he does wonder's against IC's and [dont quote me on this] He does pretty ok against Diddy. I suppose he's decent lol. And someone needs to give these new secondaries character ratings.

R.O.B. shoots lasers from his EYES that bounce off the terrain and are all around much more kick ***.

Does well again a couple of Bowser's worse match ups and I'm sure DeDeDe can be handled with massive camping which is probably better than Bowser's only option (WoK). Not the greatest set of KO moves but is pretty good at edge guarding I imagine. Plus, he's R.O.B., why would you not want to play him?

He has an awesome FAir, NAir, FTilt, DTilt, projectiles and recovery. I love playing him but I wouldn't recommend using him as your anti-camper, although it is possible. He shares a weakness with Bowser, a blind spot beneath him.

He's also pretty easy to play, the main reason I don't even bother posting on the R.O.B. boards. Learn glide tossing, aiming the gyro (I'm a natural at it), efficient use of robo burner, setting up for a BAir kill and you're pretty much set.

My R.O.B. gives me better results than my Bowser most of the time, but honestly, that's just because he's a better character overall.

R.O.B. is sexy and I love him.

But yea, most characters Bowser has trouble with, R.O.B. can deal accordingly with, or at least has even matchups with them. Though he does horrible against Zero Suit Samus.

Oh people do use Zero Suit. You know that hilarious 0 to death Infinite on R.O.B. she has? That DSmash Footstool DAir combo. It looks extremely funny, and puts the poor lil guy into an even more disadvantaged matchup against Zero Suit.
