Are you actually serious about this? Like, if I show up, play a match or two, and you decide I'm not good enough, will you kick me out? Because that would be a lot of fail. Don't get me wrong, I know how to play the game, and I have been to a tournament for Melee before. I just don't know how exactly I'd compare to others.

I don't want to waste my time going to a smashfest where I'd get kicked out when I could be sleeping in instead.

Somewhat like that... Think downgraded Melee with more options. It feels like brawl but jampacked with hitstun. Also, I have a bunch of character texture hacks which are always fun

we have 3 TVs and with that in mind we will probably have 10+ smashers. I personally dont mind what games you play really as long as its not out side smash but most people do prefer melee and I am also going to be doing stats so i would say we probably will need all 3 tvs for the first 3-4 hrs.

also note that ive been asking around again but people that actually are confirmed to show up are eric, mike, steph, me and adam?

this kinda goes way back, i've asked matt, yakal and roby etc they all said MAYBE.
for the people thats unconfirmed right now are matt, yaka, evan, roby, john, nate and many others.

so why is it onlyh 5 people showing up this time? excluding me, i really dont wish to host a smashfest if we have less than 6 players. So until this saturday I will need people to tell me that YES they are coming, or else this thing will be a no go for this saturday.

I won't be disappointed. I would've been surprised if I had been able to play Brawl in the first place. =0 This just means I won't get to win anything, which doesn't really matter.

We tried setting up in one of the open areas because we couldn't find anywhere else to play, and a security guard came and told us that wasn't allowed. He basically said that if we left right away, nothing would have to happen. =/

Well... I guess that I'll try to find out how to book rooms. That way, after the games room closes, we'll have a secondary area to go to.

the securitiies already caught onto what was going on, even if we were to have a room, they wont let us (none students) play.

I heard SFU vancouver is 1 block away from Waterfront skytrain station, I just might drop by there one of these days to check out that campus to see if we can smash there, but i highly doubt it.

you can still go smash at surrey sfu but that place closes at 5 on saturday. i mean seriously, wtf?
