Just finished playing F-Zero on the SNES.
Fire Field in that game > Fire Field in Brawl.

Granted the remix is good but the original just has such an incredible bass.

On a serious note, I dunno, did anyone else get that vibe from Omni's post? I didn't, but Bardull's comments are worth considering one way or another. Not saying I did, but between the two of them, they've revealed the most information to profile with.

I am not completely new to Mafia, but the game I was apart of was force closed before its end. I seem to have bad luck in this regard as other such Mafia games I wish to join either just became full or did not end up going along.

I honestly have never paid for Mafia though, Omni.

I have covered various games, and I'm familiar with the general day one doo-dahs.

Your explanation seems...folly. I -just- explained the jist of mafia's objective in less than a paragraph, yet you contest that it can't be done despite me having already done so. You even quoted me.

It doesn't make sense to respond to someone's question, "how do I play," by only explaining to them what town's objective is. It would make sense to explain both objectives.

i contest that i summarized the game but did not full cover the game in its entirety. that's like me jumping in after your explanation and finding your suspicious for not covering other fine/basic points that could help Sky be more acquainted with the game.

i explained what to do if you're a good guy. by process of elimination the role of the bad guy is pretty clear.

Today would be the first day after the weekend (travelling for tournaments often takes up a full three days for some) and the first day that smashboards hasn't been telling us to build additional pylons, so I'm not going to be considering anyone "inactive" yet.

Some have IMed me and told me they'd be out for the entire weekend.

Although there are players who have yet to post, we must work with what we have. Opting to "slow down" and "not point fingers until everyone posts" is...suspicious as well. We have alimited amount of time before nightfall, and town needs as much information as it can get beforehand.

My vote remains unchanged as of now, but I would like to hear everyone's opinion thus far.

you're making assumptions at this point. my intentions can move in several directions depending on how it is interpreted; you seem to have a negative interpretation of it since there is room for a negative assumption without any basis (evidence, previous behavior in other games, etc.)

this is what is called tunneling, BarDull. opting to "slow down" and "not point fingers" is attempting to keep you from focusing on the first scumtell you feel you've come across. there's nothing suspicious about telling you to branch out this early in the game.

im glad you're looking into playing the game and everything, but realize that you're focusing on a person who is actually attempting to:

1.) get the game going
2.) force conversation
3.) drag out helpful information

while it was would be 10x easier for me to coast like 80% of the cast and blame the inactivity on <insert random reason here> and it be legit due to Smashboards random downtime

While I think Omni is up to something, it's possible he may be on my side. Same with you Bardull. Omni doesn't know your role. Just because he's acting "suspicious" doesn't mean he's not aligned with you. My vote is to abstain until further information is available.

However, this does make me somewhat suspicious of Bardull. If he's so willing to vote someone out, perhaps he's not aligned with anybody at all.

According to Omni, he intentionally omitted information in response to a neutral question. He didn't "forget to post it," per se. If you read his posts, he begins flip flopping between his answers...none of which are really satisfactory to begin with. I'm impressed that you don't find this to be suspicious.
