Mike Brown's offense in Cleveland was literally "give LBJ the ball." In LA, it was "Give Kobe the ball." On top of that, it doesn't seem like Brown demands respect. I would have personally preferred a guy like Adelman or JVG.

With Nash there, I hope his creativity is more than enough to offset Mike Brown's tendencies.

Uhhh....

I don't know whats wrong with NBA 2k11 but I was playing at a friends house and when one of us pump fakes, it makes the human controlled player without the ball jump without pressing the jump button. Never seen that kind of bs before...

Spo is a much better coach than Mike Brown imo. He comes from video background and actually does his homework. I remember watching a mike brown interview before they played Jeremy Lin saying he didnt scout him at all and wasnt worried. Then Lin goes for 38.

I like my jerseys to be "clean" that's all. Nothing but the team name, logo, numbers, and a person's last name.
Uggh.....The Leauge is really going to place advertisements on jerseys? That's horrible. Leave the uniforms alone. I really don't want to see a McDonald's, or a Sprint patch on a Lakers or Bulls jersey.

The only sport where ads are fine is in NASCAR because a decked out race car is cool, but not basketball, or any other team sport for that matter.

USA vs Spain is gonna be really fun. Spain beat Argentina by 20, US beat them by 6. I know it's only an exhibition match, but I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of "serious" play.

Plus, I wanna see how our team stacks up against the Spain bigs.

US vs Argentina...these refs are a total piece of ****. Did Argentina pay them off? Not saying US should be up by 20, but at least 10 given how many bogus fouls and out of bounds calls have gone their way.

France and Spain got into a few hardcore scuffles due to some flopping and hard fouls.

So sad to see Kobe play so bad. I dunno if it's cause he's sort of playing out of place or he's really hit father time.

Edit: I regret nothing I said about Kobe.

At least I can count on Dwight trying every game including playoffs. Though he can't be a closer like Bynum due to hack a Dwight.
.
Also, Dwight is a better pick and roll defender compared to
Bynum. Can protect rim better too

Despite the additions of Jamison, Nash, and Howard...I am not counting OKC and Spurs out.

Spurs = great team ball and 3 point shooting. Defense is average. Still a strong threat.
OKC = Growth of Ibaka, KD, Harden, and WB should propel them further ahead.
LA = Arguably best passing point guard having a bunch of toys at his disposal. Dwight anchors defense for perimeter players when they get blown by the athletic guards.

In order of seeding...

1. OKC
2. Spurs
3. Lakers

And the reason for that is, cause Gasol needs to bounce back. He's been playing OK in the Olympics. I think he's just hit the wall really bad this last year, and it continues to show. Maybe Nash can rejuvenate him.

I do expect OKC to have a higher seed but the Lakers just have too much talent on that roster to not make the Finals now as long as they can stay healthy. Their series with OKC last season was pretty close throughout and the Lakers have addressed their biggest issue at PG with Steve Nash while simultaneously upgrading their already OP front court with the best center in the NBA.

They're making the Finals, or at least I hope they do. We might finally get that Kobe/LeBron Finals that everyone has been dreaming of.

Kobe/Nash/Howard/Gasol vs. LeBron/Wade/Bosh/Allen doesn't really get any more epic than that.

Bill Simmons on the Nuggets. I do agree, they look stacked. Possible 3rd or 4th seed?

Ty Lawson, Andre Iguodala, JaVale McGee, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler, Andre Miller and … (wait for it) … Timofey Mozgov!

i think the nuggets are the biggest winners in this trade

dropping the 32yo harrington and affalo contracts in a small market while upgrading those positions *significantly* (faried gets more playing time, iggy at the wing) is a bigger deal than upgrading from the second best center to the best center imo.

76'ers got a lot better as well... I think they have a real shot at being a 3-4 seed.

Pretty much everyone befitted from this trade unless if you're the Magic... Oh how I feel for those fans right now. lol

Most of the Orlando fans I know are just glad to get rid of Duhon and Howard

Every team goes through highs and lows
We had a good team in the playoff for 6 years. We will be bad for a few years but it happens.

I honestly don't know what the Magic were thinking. The Houston package seemed more appealing. Recent good draft picks, youth, and they were willing to take on some heavy contracts like Turk or J-Rich.

I read that Magic CEO Alex Martins made the decision not the new GM Rob Hennigan. The Houston package did seem better. I guess they waited too long. I'm just glad they didn't take the Nets' deal. Trade was a bust but at least we got something out of it unlike how we got destroyed in 96 by Shaq

Can't wait til Season starts this fall man, Lakers looking real Elite right now,
Kobe, Nash, Howard, Gasol, & World peace, that's a nasty starting line-up that even Mike Brown can't mess up, Clippers looking alright, just hope Blake recover in time though or I'm gonna be salty...
