Harden I believe is a pretty decent perimeter shooter. Definitely a great 3 point shooter. I just think he decided to have a slump/get nervous at the wrong time, making him look worse. He can definitely exploit average defenders, but struggles against good defenders and good team defenses.

His defense can still grow a little bit. The reason they stuck him on LBJ was because he couldn't keep up with Wade. He's a heavy guy for a 6'5 guy. But yeah, he ain't a max player, though someone will throw money at him of that kind.

williams has a lot of upside. young. very coordinated and athletic iirc. kind of a blake griffin type with a better outside shot i think.

about the harden situation...he's come out and said that he wants to stay in OKC and implied he'd take small money to do so. it seems like an overreaction by the thunder after one bad series.

hes a very versatile forward. great length and wingspan so he can score in the paint, can shoot the 3-ball well, and pretty fast. apparently the wolves want more speed from him though. i'm a big fan of him though since he spent his two years in college at the uofa

mo will be missed be we have plenty of guards to take his place. hopefully billups will be fully healed by next season. as far as odom, i think as long as he gets out of his slump, he will be a wonderful pickup for the clips frontcourt.

I don't trust Billups. He will be going on 36, coming off of a foot injury, and age might prevent him from getting back into his usual groove. I like Bledsoe though, and figure he should get more PT.

Utah desperately needed someone to score in their backcourt. Mo can give them that. I honestly thought he was in his 30s. Didn't know he was that young.

I sure Khloe is happy to be back in LA haha

I agree about the Uncertainty of Billups, but his role will probably be less demanding. He probably most effective spotting up off double teams or something. And Odom will probably be really motivated to redeem himself

Great move by the Clippers imo

This means I might see less of Reggie Evans...that's a good and bad thing. Good cause he flops like crazy. Bad cause his flops are funny.

Garnett just signed a 3 year deal with the Celtics.

Looks like we'll be seeing many more Heat/Celtics playoff series. I'm looking forward to it. :)

While it's great KG resigned for 3 years (not sure if he will play them all out, cause he was contemlating retirement), their age is not really helping them. They need a young stud. Hopefully Jeff Green can help somewhat.

I'm not undermining the Bulls at all. The Heat could get the #1-2 seed while the Celtics could get the 3-4 seed. That could easily mean plenty of semi-ECF Heat/Celtics match ups and Bulls/Heat ECF match ups.

Dwight is asking the Players' Association to file a junction that will make him a FA this summer. Reasons cited due to Orlando not fulfilling "promises" to him.

Dwight is the new guy I hope never wins a ring.

Dwight is the biggest drama queen I've seen in FA so far. Feel sorry for Orlando fans. SVG got fired AND Dwight is leaving?

The dude single-handedly gutted the entire organization.

Btw, if Dwight wants to go to NJ, that leads me to believe that Deron is leaning towards NJ as well. We'll find out more tomorrow when he meets both Dallas and NJ.

^this
he has alot of *****assness in him
that franchise is done for a while.
especially since the fact that they would sacrifice a coach and a management that has been there for years for a fickle player.

that was a bush league move for whoever let that info out into the open
what good coach is gonna go there now?
until much later they are screwed.

i loled at the cavs getting a sixth man and zeller
eh we will see what happens

Rockets have offered Omer Asik a 3 year 25 mil contract. He's not good offensively, but the dude is so good on defense. I don't think the Bulls can replace him that easily.

Just occurred to me. Let Ray Allen walk, and try to get Jason Terry? A bit younger and does more than just spotting up for 3.

Breaking News: Nets just got Joe Johnson.

The Hawks, according to sources, would get Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, Jordan Williams, Johan Petro, DeShawn Stevenson (via sign-and-trade) and the Rockets' 2013 lottery protected first round pick.

Someone explain to me why everyone is so sensitive about loyalty of players towards teams. If Dwight, for example, wants to play somewhere else, just let him. I'd want to play where I could win, that's only natural.

I'll agree on playing wherever you want, that's a given, but I think the reason for this is the fact that is because of the way you want to win

I mean winning on the team that you've practically your career in would probably be a lot sweeter than playing for a team w/ several All-Stars

winning a title on a team w/ several All-Stars would be kind of similar to ''taking the easy way out''

It also adds to the fact that w/ those several All-Stars on your team, that would mean that you don't have to play as hard as you did when you were w/ your previous team

I would like to add that when you get drafted by said team, they instantly welcome you w/ open arms, and they would do just about anything to accommodate you

I mean, that's just my take on it, feel free to criticize me on this

It was one of the big advantages of college ball prior to the one and done rule. Collegiate athletes developed loyalty, rivalry, passion, and pride to be on that team. You hardly see that on the professional level, and it clearly becomes all about the self and money.

clippers looking at terry, allen, and crawford

i think we'll end up with the trailblazer seeing as how Clippers former GM is now GM in portland, and has good relations with his replacement in LA. he's also the youngest of the three.

too bad crawford sucks. id really rather have terry or ray

I wonder what Deandre Jordan could fetch in the market? That guy hasn't shown much progression, and while he's a good blocker, he tends to disappear a lot in games. He has no offensive game as well. I figure if they could trade him away for something, they could bolster possibly the 2 or 3 spot.

Have Odom and Blake start together with Reggie Evans coming off the bench.

i think DJ has decent potential offensively. he's got great hands and coordination for a big man his size, and he's still so young. i have faith in him. my only real issue is his lack of rebounding. theres no reason he shouldnt have 10+ rebounds per game (assuming more minutes next year). he's like a more coordinated, but currently less effective and derpy javale mcgee.

im getting pretty excited about next year:
PG: CP3, bledsoe
SG: (crawford/jet/allen?), billups, travis leslie?
SF: tryhard odom, butler
PF: Blake/ Trey Thompkins?
C: DJ, Evans

hopefully travis leslie has developed enough to make the team. RIDICULOUSLY athletic, very long (6'11" wingspan), and always finds the ball. great rebounder and defender. he's like a 6'4" kenneth faried. Trey Thompkins is supposedly a pretty strong big man with great hands and a solid jumper/inside-out game. i think they kept him in the Dleague to develop his back to basket game. odom will provide some much needed rebounding too.

i seriously hope chauncey bounces back strong

I lol'ed at "tryhard Odom."

Forreal though I have a feeling he's going to bounce back with the Clippers. The Mavs just weren't a good fit for him. Plus he'll be back in LA so that will make him and the Kardashian fam happy.

I wouldn't put Odom at the 3. It can give an edge in rebounding, but he's not mobile enough to cover the spot on the defensive position. Plus he is not a good person to stretch the floor given his sub-par perimeter shooting. Chances are, he'll be just playing behind Blake and DJ. Would not surprise me if their fourth quarter crunch time lineup has him and Blake though.

I hope the Clips don't gut a lot of their bench. They were instrumental in the playoffs in bringing the team back. The starters I would say played worse in the first quarter compared to their bench.

Also, a bit irrelevant, but I give props to Khloe for sticking with Odom. Kardashians, especially her get a lot of ****, but you figure she would have divorced him given how bad his life was going/sucking at basketball.

Khloe is the only Kardashian that I feel is genuine, and for that I think she's the most likable. Can't stand when people make fun of her because of her weight. I'm sure all of the guys who criticize her look like Enrique Iglesias.

Yikes that implies I think Enrique is an attractive man... Oh whatever I'll stick with it.
