You got me wrong. Not a Diddy Kong Racing. But literally Banjo Kart. Only Banjo characters. And Conker. And it will be multiplayer focused.

Why not just Rareware characters only? Or any Rareware animal-like characters.

...This isn't just an excuse to get Sabrewulf in, no. I think a smaller roster might be silly when there's a ton of Rareware options alone.

I mean say what you want about Papagenos, but the man is at least forthright about his biases, and doesn’t allow them to cloud what he presents. Dude literally put up a vid saying “hey, don’t hold your breath for Banjo” recently when things seemed dire to him

It's why I find browsing the Smash section of GameFAQs so frustrating during the times I'm bored enough to go there. It feels like some users there are trying to make him out to be an awful person when he isn't, mostly by bring up behavior during the Grinch leak days. Honestly, the only reason I go there is to hear some takes on whatever speculation is going on at the moment, even if it's probably **** takes.

At this point, I honestly think Banjo is the most likely character (which honestly isn't saying much, I have absolutely no clue on DLC)

There's been a lot of strange things occurring. I'm probably gonna regret this but I'm gonna go on depth.

First of all, Brave. The code name would only loosely connect to Banjo. Erdrick would fit it better. But why I think it could be Banjo are the stats. They match him very well.

Second of all. The amount of Mercy recently. Somethings up with Banjo. He's been receiving a lot mercy recently, including a tease for an appearance at E3. Might not be Smash, but I'm convinced he's going to be at E3

Third of all. The deleted Lootbox tweet and removal of Banjo items. This is especially weird asking if people want to see Banjo in Smash, then deleting the tweet and Removing all Banjo content from the monthly package. Just weird.

Fourth of All. The silence. People at Microsoft have been quite open about talking about Banjo in smash. But radio silence now. With exception of Grant, we've heard nothing from anyone official. This is more of stretch.

Fifth. The head of Microsoft is very open about having Banjo in Smash, hasn't commented on anyone else, specifically Banjo, multiple times.

OK but seriously, was there anything I didn't cover or missed?

Rare did have a racing game with their characters planned at one point.

It's more of a joke how all racing games always tend to really limit themselves on what characters they use. Like how Mario Kart has to use common enemies and reskins of mario to pad out the roster. So Banjo-Kart will only have Banjo characters and 5 reskins of Banjo.

Depends where on GameFAQs you visit. Not every area is bad. Some are actually pretty good. Just like every site on the net, there's good apples and bad apples.

I'd argue there's way more bad apples on that site, though, yeahhhh.

I just thought of something. Remember when two people at least said Jinjonator should be Banjo-Kazooie's Final Smash? Well, imagine it like a cinematic cutscene where the Jinjonator rams the opponent(s), and with that, send them falling off a high area they were on until they hit the ground, with a giant rock falling on top of them, just like what happened to Grunty at the end of the first game. Then the cutscene ends and the opponent(s) fly off, possibly off the stage.

Hence the digging part. Only thing they could really find was that he got a little pissed at GameXplain and even that was fairly justified considering that poorly made video (blurriness of images is not and still isn't a good way to deconfirm something, I know they can't reveal they have sources due to wanting to remain on Nintendo's good side, but anything is better than saying it's blurry) and at least 2 members were being assholes on Twitter (IIRC, one insulted PG while another compared supporting the leak to a political thing I will not bring up)
