But seriously, it's been diminishing ever since mk became standard and timeouts became frequent. We lost pretty much all of out average players. That meant we lost of diversity and potential, also.

I personally feel that I'm too busy too organize anything, espc during uni. During holidays its quite possible, though.

Of the players that still play... I don't know how people feel about the game. it seems like no one cares anymore; no one watches grand finals, no one asks for tips, no one gets passionate.

It's actually really sad, because I still have plenty of fun.

After BAM I'm banning MK from singles as well at boosts (I don't think anyone wants to complain about doing so either).

I think its time Melbourne follows suit. Earl may get hurt, but I know he's been practising alternative characters for the longest time.

I was recently talking to people about banning MK and a couple of things came up:
1. I thought your best player was a "non-mk" main.
2. Aren't you the country that had that dedede rule?
3. You said yourself that no one wins with him, so why would you ban him?

I brought up that meta knight killed australia's largest scene down south from where I was. An Australian MK hasn't won a NSW tournament since Kulla - but besides that, most of our good players will bring out MK if they're cp'd to a "gay stage" > and I want to bring more stages back into the rule set, MK has to go if that's going to happen.

As much as a 'pro ban' advocate as I am, I don't want to ban mk unless America does too. I would like to be competitive if I ever get to play there.

Also don't feel sorry for mk mains; we've all spent the last three years learning the mk matchup, too.

Many others held this 'pro MK-ban' view in Brawl's early days. The BBR owned itself through a painfully naive and ideological mess and diminished the Brawl scene as a result.

Shame that people are pointing fingers as things like MK only when it is too late. I would have still been playing Woxy/Peach if the game's OP-ness was reduced.

I recommend the rest of Australia follow suit - unless people are planning on going to Apex which will have MK legal.

I dont want to sound like a complete ****, but I wouldn't feel sorry for any mk mains the slightest if mk were to get banned. It's sad they kept him in for this long. I hated losing because of mk, and I'm sure others want a fair go too.

I trust shayas recommendation and chances are MK will probably be banned in the near future but its not just a 'kaydone' just like that.

So far, if Meta Knight is banned in the Unity Ruleset 3 Brawl states' in Aus TOs have said that they they will ban MK as well.

terrible reason, the brawl unity ruleset stagelist is bad enough

Dekar is right, we should just play every match on Final Destination.

It is pure player vs. player combat, so it is the most fair and balanced stage and test skill the best.
