Sorry if I'm being srsbsns in a Social thread, but I felt like just putting this out, for anyone struggling in the matchup

It's risky, but grabbing one of the ICs actually yields a good reward, just because of how **** fast our pummel is.

- If you grab Popo, pummel to knock Nana away, Bthrow Popo, proceed to SHDair/Dsmash/Fsmash/Shipposmash/w.esmash Nana as she runs past you.
- If you grab Nana, pummel to knock Popo away, throw Nana off the stage(if you don't get her offstage after the first throw, run after her and Fthrow her ***), proceed to gimp Nana.

also remember that ICs can't sidestep and both be invincible at the same time

I forget how much the difference between popo and nana was but I know its enough for ZSS grab to be realllly goood agaisnt them just due how to meaty it is

Something else I'd like to put out there. Dedede MAY actually have a certain edge over ICs as well. I know it sounds silly, but...

I had the fortune of facing Vinnie in a Random money match. Unluckily for me, he got ICs, while I got Dedede. I tried using my aggro grab strategies like I always do against ICs, and, well... Dedede's grab range is so huge... and Fthrow, Bthrow, and Dthrow are all so fast... plus they actually knock away the other climber, opening up a world of possibilities, similar to how Lucario can open up the ICs with his pummel. I'm not sure if Vinnie just never experienced a Dedede playstyle like that(because really, who would go aggro grab against ICs; it looks like the scariest thing in the world to do), or if this actually works on the ICs, but I consistently killed off Vinnie's secondary climber really quickly on each of his stocks.

Definitely something to think about.

Protip: Vinnie still beat me with Popo alone because I don't know how to actually use Dedede.

fsmash has always been a bad move to throw out for the sake of throwing out, you should think about using it for an opportunity, not for its relative safety.
