There are a number of people who use the Wii Classic Controller for smash, and with MLG's "no wireless" rule, people who used them are SoL. However someone pointed this out to me: Wired Classic Controllers that go in the GC slot of the Wii (Could also be used for Melee)

They seem to be rather cheap as well. This is not an official controller (though looks about as close as you can get without being sued) but it's an option for anyone who wants to go to MLG events who wants to use a Classic Controller.

It's got a turbo function D:
That means the controller is banned due to that ability correct? How sad, get their hopes up only to be slapped in the face once again. Oh course I'm sure that wasn't the OP's intention.

Maybe next time classic controller users. =/

Yeah it's stupid and sad as well :/

I'm GCC User but anyway I feel sad for every person who is forced to use another controller they get used to, especially since Wiichuck is the 'normal' way to play brawl... normal, because of Brawl = Wii Game (I know GCC is standard and used by 99,9% of the competetive playing people).

I dont understand why ALL these "copy"-controllers must have some kind of turbo-fire or auto-function... it's not like this function makes them better than the original xD

**** this gets my hopes up and then shuts it back down.. THe reason i picked up the classic was because of the discontinue of GC.. MLG needs to fix this problem somehow.

:( sorry for making people aware that their dreams have been crushed...again

i blame Mic <_<

i really wanted this too, cant somebody just make a classic controller extension cable that hooks up to the classic on one end and the gc slotbin the wii on the other?

EDIT: but then again, that would allow you to hook up a nunchuck to the wii without an actual controller...uh, lol?

you can still but GC controllers straight from nintendo. its a little more pricey but its the only way anymore.

If you can, you can always open up the controller and disable it. Aka, cut the wire or something. As long as it doesnt have the ability to use the turbo or have a turbo it should be legal.

Holy **** $9.63 though?

I might buy that just so I don't have to buy a regular pricey classic controller. That's a really good deal for a classic controller regardless.

Also, look at the controller closer.

Now look at a regular classic controller

Anyone else think that the turbo function might only be for the fact that it also can plug into a gcn and may not work if you use it for a wii game, or it says it has programmable features, which means there's a way to disable it? Maybe baby?

Thenagain I probably am wrong, but I hope not. It'd be nice to have hope...
