Any tips vs. Diddy on stages with no platforms (I think FD is the only stage like this...so yeah)?

c) this guy would play better if he didn't whiff grabs and dair suicide in tourney!
d) this guy moves zss around really fast and really sexy, but in doing so trips every five seconds!

Stay alive longer..?

Does ZSS have any special ways of canceling Launch Mumentum?

Sometimes Uair > Jump isn't enough to stay alive.
And I feel there must be stuff I haven't learned yet.

How about her B-moves?

What do you CP and ban vs GaW?
Err, I really have no idea offhand.
There's a thread about character CPs floating around somewhere, and I think I covered GW.
Man, I really have to update that ****.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qhvAhCMn5Q vs dekar

my most recent vids, and i posted them in the video thread. Thanks for caring jerk.

i get item ***** in these games though :( that usually doesn't happen
I mostly thought, "****, why don't I have any exp. vs. Sonic, and such little Diddy exp? I wanna be able to know if what he's doing is good/bad/stealable.

Uair > jump isn't the best.

Uair > keep DIing is better.
Uair > down-b is the best way to stop momentum, but you have to DI a little down so you don't blow up in the weird corner blastzones Brawl has.
Uair > fastfall also works.

You should try being passive sometimes, I'm particularly passive in the Diddy matchup and never attack them unless they're in the air or offstage.

I'm down for a combo video... I think we have enough footage or we can wait until after MLG DC to make it too :)

Man I suck at the DDD matchup, how do you play it?
Grab.
I'm not even kidding.

It's hard to explain really.
Grab any landing aerial save nair. CG off the stage. Edgeguard.
Now you're winning. Let DDD approach you, and deal damage.
Eventually kill first.

Repeat.

Frisco you know
I do grab a lot in that matchup actually, but I tend to miss more often for some reason. The DDD I play with knows me pretty well, so I guess I must just have patterns with my grabs. Like I know when I want a grab, I'll start foxtrotting around trying to bait an attack. I duno, that's probably it.

Feinting a back air and b reversing a nB is really really good, atleast against that same guy. Most DDDs always will grab, even at the anticipation of an aerial on shield, which will net you a nB>grab. I usually do that if I really want a CG or dash lock, because you only get to do it a few times a set before they become prepared for it and start playing more intelligently.

ZSS X Pikachu Matchup

I NEED to win a pikachu main in a money match involving big ammounts of money, so I really need some tips in this match up.
ZSS is my main char, but I'm not sure if this is a winnable match up, so could u guys tell me if this is a good or bad match and what should I do to maximise my chances of win please?

Space like hell. D-smash outspaces everything on the ground.
Back-air is AMAZING in this MU.
If Pikachu T-jolts, it gets cancelled by every hitbox in the game, so just hit it.
Don't try to edgeguard Pikachu. You'll just lose.
Running away works surprisingly well in this MU.

Umm... for specifics, I'd need vids of the Pikachu player.

Just to save you time...
If he likes d-smash a lot, sheild until you're out of the move, and d-smash him for it.
If you get hit by d-smash, hold up and tap up on the c-stick as you get hit to get out of it.

I just started to watch the match, and he barely t-jolts, and looks like he doesn't know his CG %s. (Mind you, these vids are January, so he might be better.)

To get out of move -> Thunder, don't bother momentum cancelling. Just AD the thunder. Pikachu cannot followup too hgih with anything BUT Thunder, so this works out.

Don't go to flat stages, as Pikachu can CG you there. Walk-offs are okay because you can grab-release CG him back, which is funny.

Umm... yeah...
