Been thinking of quitting ICs but for other reasons instead of them not being good.

I have bad patterns that I need to break and that it's what I do on all my characters, it's really holding me back. Plus learning a secondary could help out our team arby . Thinking of picking up sheik again but really playing and focusing on her. So going to stop playing other games and just focus on melee for now.

so first set cancels out the owing part and you get $2 or would have owed him $3?

cus the term double or nothing now thinking about it is in favor of the winner instead of loser which is rather stupid concept since 90% of the time the loser is the one reissuing the challenge it should be called something else.

Yeah basically. Each new bet was equal to the original pot, so I won $4 after the double or nothing. I won double, he won nothing. Then we did a third, unrelated MM, and I won another dollar.

I think it's mathematically proven that all the variations on double or nothing are in favor of the winner or house. So those who try to play the system in a casino or something are looking to lose. It's more about salt and proving yourself, which is why I prefer "my" method where more is on the line for both sides. Honestly, the idea of playing just to cancel your debt, especially in small time Smash MMs, is boring.


Also, that KK set should be some inspiration. His situation with Unknown is the same as you and G.Vice vs me, but he finally won (in an important set too). Which is why the Faith Hill lyrics are so appropriate.

although me vs G.Vice works a little differently, since one or both of us always plays like poo in serious sets so we never want to play each other in bracket
