Yeeeeeah... I went ahead and changed the bi-weekly thread, to just a "smashfest" thread, 'cause we don't seem to follow any set schedule anymore. That being said, if people are up for it, we could Smash on any weekend.

Okay, so I'm starting to play Falco/Fox to improve tech-skill
And I like Falco.
Alot.
it's just like JCshine, dair, JCshine, dair, JCshine, fair, dair.
I love top tiers.

Arby, His description of falco still sounds like a 2004-2006 falco (except for the fair).
G vice is right. The metagame, mainly di in this instance, has evolved. That stuff just doesn't work any more. Unless you have ******** *** di like I sometimes do.

That, and(as far as I go), if you connect w/ Falco's torso, it has decent launch after a good pillaring bit, and (once again, for me) is decent Dair setup.

the shine dair combo isn't a pillar. that's shine dair shield pressure

yeah, sdi really messes up falco's accepted, standard combos. but he can still do the shine->dair nonsense until 15 or 20 without fail (depending on stage interference)

Depending on where they di, you can follow/chase and shb/bair/dtilt/infinite options them.

ok, the agenda:

-UALR combo vid (footage of all who visited us - i'm waiting until after the twins come this weekend to finish this one)
-The Health Inspector (vice/iori sheganigans)
-Arkansas biweekly vid (from the two so far - possibly including iori's other characters sans mewtwo, but then again i may make him his own)

i'm going to need a lot of disney music to get through this one...

Asbestos, instead I really would like a captin falcon vid with my goodies as a song pls. If it is not a problem.

XD Hopefully I will have all the footage for mewtation 3 soon.... sadly though it will be the last. I guess then I can make a combination of random characters 3 and it will also be the last.

Yeah, he pulled some reeally slick and original combos on my ganon with CF. Should have enuff footage after Vice and Arby got comboed all day...

Hey Iori, i'ma be in Nashtown in a couple weeks staying with my friend.
You should like, head there when i'm there and we can smash.
He's really scrubby, and doesn't have the AT's down all the way, but he's cool, and part of the reason I'm going there is to train him.

Nashville is just as far from Memphis as Little Rock. What week though? There's a tournament/smashfest on the 20th at KO's house, and at least a few Memphians are going to that.

Yeah if I"m not mistaken Nashville is even further from Memphis than Little Rock. And I didn't know that KO was having a tourney. Btw Jack when are you gonna come visit us? I miss seeing ya dude :C

KO has monthly tournaments at his place.

And yea, he actually lives near MTSU, so it's about 3-3.5 hours, whereas LR is only 2ish.
